Any advice would be helpful. I’ve been working out and dieting for a few months now, but I seem to be at a standstill for weight loss. I don’t understand why. I workout 3-5 days a week. Help!!! I’m only 7lbs away from my goal.

Is your routine the same? I was having the same problem and this great site http://www.findyourdetour.com/, informed me that if you don’t challenge your body you will maintain your current body weight. You need to try different stuff!!

Moving this to Health.

Is your goal to physically lose weight or just be skinnier? You may be gaining muscle mass and toning up, but not losing weight.

Wow... those are some really good suggestions. That site looks really cool. Maybe I should change up my workout a little bit I am kinda getting bored of the same old routine and maybe it will be that push so I can lose that last few pounds. thanx

Well when you excersise you usually gain muscle and seems like your gaining weight or not loosing any at all.
but it takes time

first you gain muscle

then i guess your fat just falls off after that but of course with proper diet and excersise

just because you are excersising 3-5 days a week
might not be enough

how long are you doing it for though?

1 hour/ 2 hours? more?

but don't excersise just doing the same thing (ie. situps)

dont just do situps for an hour or whateve revery day that gets boring.

do situps, running, tredmill, push ups, random excersises while standing up like touching your toes..

jumping jacks, get an excersise ball

weights for your arms the little hand ones
eat lots of vegetables
drink plenty of water

no soda.

you can have 1 cheat day but the next day you have to work harder.

just eat right.

=D
