I was just wondering. Do you think the internet is becoming the playground for people (well kids I should rather say) from ages 12-18/19? I mean, its wierd how we have taken the internet, and made it into this giant playground, with everyting at our fingertips. We take html, php, cgi, and everything else, and create websites. We take pictures, and post them everywhere, we start forums, and fansites, ect. Its like half the internet covered by teenagers alone. I just wanted to know what were you guys views on this. I think we will take over the world someday. Muwahahahahahaha! devil.gif

I agree actually, I remember though... when
I was younger, I used to have AOL-- but there
were SO many restrictions my parents put up
for me, and whenever I went into chatrooms, everyone
used to be like 20 something, and it was crazy...
but now, I'm sitting here on Xanga or whatever
and everyone's so much younger, like... 12-15...
But I think it's pretty crazy.

didn't know much about internet 'till junior high. and i can tell you that most of my friends mainly have AIM to chat..talk..etc. where parents can't hear convos (ie: phone) most have xangas and post pics around..but idk..don't think it's our mainnn playground. we'd (friends and myself) would prefer going outside to mall, movies, etc. rather than stuck home..on the comp.

Technically, we will rule the world one day!

"Adults" rule it now, but they were once our age!

hmm... well maybe its because most adults seem to struggle with technology. I mean html and designing was once only done by professionals, now here's like 10 year old kids making rock-hard layouts... lollz

I started using the internet when I was 3... Isn't that pathetic? I think I learned my alphabet from the keyboard. 'Cause I already knew how to read at 3 years old. Dang, this topic is old. Should this be moved to technology? I noticed, it was moved back to the lounge. Anyway, yeah, the internet is very very amazing and very very "informative". Sure, I guess you could call it a playground, but it seems more like a shopping mall to me. biggrin.gif
