different types of layers for hair

i wana get my hair layered but idk what kinda layers to put in my hair let alone the types of layers... can someone plz help!

I can't remember what it said, but this month's issue of Marie Claire had an article about what type of layers to get for four different hair textures: thick and unmanageable, thin, curly and frizzy and something else. Maybe you could check it out, or just ask your stylist when you go for a haircut.

if you want your hair to be overall more body and texture, a good choice is always long layers. they start low and are very gradual. get some face framing layers in the front. or if you have very thin hair, ask for lots of layers for body and fullness. just ask your stylist what he/she thinks is best and go from there.
