Well my friend and I have this massive thing about karma. It always happens to us..what goes around comes around, all the time when it's just us two around

Does anyone else believe in it? Or do you think it's just pure coincidence?

And what experiences have you had involving karma? Anything funny, scary?

Last night, I mocked my father, and then immediately smacked my knee on the table. Funny stuff....

Yeah, I do believe in karma, or certainly a balance

Karma, I definately believe in it. I've had it happen to me multiple times. I mean, Karma doesn't happen overnight, it could definately catch up to you when you forgot what you did. pinch.gif

I sort of do, sort of don't...sometimes something bad or good will happen after I've done something bad or good but I don't always think of it as karma happening, just stuff that happens.
Sometimes it really seems like its karma because of the way things turn out or how quickly something bites me in the butt haha, but for the most part, I don't really think much of it.

I believe in karma. I think that if it hasn't caught up with you yet then it's building up and will still get you sometime.

I don't believe in karma. It's never happened to me, and it's definitely never happened to anyone else that deserves it. I also don't think that there's any benefit to believing in karma...does it mean that you're supposed to treat people kindly in order to prevent bad things to happen to you? Kind of self-serving, to me. I'd rather be a good person without any ulterior motives.

But yeah karma always catches up with me, it's interesting that so many of you don't believe in it.

I certainly do now, if I'd never experienced it then I wouldn't.

I joke around about good/bad karma, but I don't actually follow the beliefs behind it. It takes a lot to get me to believe in something that has no scientific basis, especially considering that I spent the first 11 years of my life following Christianity like a lost puppy. It'll be a long time before I ever consent to believing in something that isn't tangible or provable again.

At least I wasn't the only one who was reminded of my username by this topic, lol.

I don't believe in karma. Bad things will happen to you whether or not you do bad things, it's life. I think karma's one of those things that you can use as an excuse for bad things happening to you, like "oh it must be karma". Like Kaycee said, there are people who have horrible things happen to them that obviously aren't karma.

I believe that karma has a way of catching up with you. Well, for certain people, at least.

My ex cheated on me and other women a number of times and he ended up getting in a car accident and dying. I don't know if that's karma, but it feels like something.

Maybe that's just me being a bitch.

I don't really believe in it, too many people have done unspeakable things and not paid for it.

I want to believe in it though. I do like the idea of people getting paid back for bad (or good) things they've done, but I've seen, and heard about too many people doing bad things, and living a fine life, or people doing very good things and having very bad things happening to them.

Uhm,
Let's see

The way I see it there has to be some sort of balance. Yes, there are people who have done horrible things and haven't paid the price. But that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Personally I can think of many little instances where I think karma has got me.

For example...
Yesterday I went shopping, and I bought heaps. A little more than I should have, therefore I did something bad.
The dress I bought - I can't find/don't have anything to put on underneath it. So I can't wear it. I got bit in the butt. By karma!

Hah, I don't know ermm.gif

I have stupid karma.

If I do something bad, something really bad happens to me.
If I do something good, something bad happens.
