What's your top choice? Where are you applyingggg? What're you gonna major in?

My top is UChicago, and I want to major in neuroscience and minor in journalism.
I'm also applying to Columbia, Brown, Cornell, Northwestern, Michigan, NYU, and Harvard (just to see, haha, not like I'll actually get in).

What's neuroscience? o.O

I would want to major in Motion/Pictures & Television / Filming and minor in Acting (that way I know how to direct while filming).
I'm definitely going to try to get my Bachelors of Fine Arts.

I would apply for Academy Of The Arts in San Francisco (Most likely since I'm closer), University of Southern California (I definitely want to go but it's in LA - willingly to go there if I get accepted), UC Irvine, UCLA (I doubt I'll ever get in).

If all the schools won't work out (which I doubt, i hope LOL), I would probably want to go to San Jose State University or San Francisco State University.

I want to stay at home, so I'm kinda limited.

Schools in Florida:
- Steston
- Rollins
- University of Central Florida
- University of South Florida
- University of Florida
- Eckerd College (they have a really good Marine Biology program)

And I plan on majoring in:
- Engineering
- Genetics
- Marine Biology / Oceanography
- Enviromental Studies
- Advertising
- Architecture

Or if all else fails, nursing. pinch.gif

I'm still trying to figure out what I should do as a career. I'm thinking that I'll go to the community college for a year and then transfer to the university.

QUOTE(brownsugar @ Aug 20 2007, 07:35 PM) *
I was looking at LSU (great track school), UGA, TSU (I wasn't really considering this one as much)...ha. UGA is offering me a full track scholarship now, and I want to stay in-state and UGA is a great school.

So more than likely that is where I will end up going. I mean, the perks UGA listed are amazing. Haha, unless someone else wants to give me a full scholarship AND put some money in my pocket then I'm straight for now

So you must be really good then huh?

There are only three schools I can really see myself in: UC Davis, Santa Clara University, and San Jose State.

Right now, all three are options and I am really leaning towards UC Davis. Santa Clara University has always been my dream school, but I have a feeling San Jose State will keep me both happy and humble. If my family moves and leaves me here, UC Davis is completely scratched out (sad.gif), but hey, it's still early. (:

As far as major, definitely something along the lines of Biology or Chemistry, since I want to go to med school. (But that's going to take more research, I heard something in the Humanities helps to get in, too.) Eventually, I'd love to become either an oncologist or a high school teacher.

The only options I really have are UBC and SFU. Top choice? I suppose, although I'm sure I can do better. Not that UBC or SFU aren't good schools, but I might consider schools outside of British Columbia.

As far as my choice of major, I really have no idea. I've thought so long about my choices, at least since 8th grade, but I've never been able to come to a decision. Part of the reason is that there's nothing that I'm particularly good at - I'm pretty good at everything. My back-up choice, for now, is Accounting or something else in the faculty of Commerce.

Arcadia University is my top choice. For a double major in International Peace and Conflict Resolution (it's a 6 year masters program with a 90% acceptance rate into the UN)/Photography with a minor in dance

I don't exactly have a top choice, because I'm basically 90% sure I'm going to the University of Washington, at least for undergraduate studies, because it's cheaper, nearby, and relatively the same education as anywhere else since it's undergrad. It's pretty easy to get into also, at least it seems, so I don't really have to worry.

I'm not sure what I'd major in, something science-y to get into medical school. If that doesn't work out, my second plan is something in fashion.
