i didn't really watch it, but my friends seemed really into it.. how do you guys feel about it? |

I hate it. I think Zac Effron is so ugly. And Ashely tidsdale, or how ever the hell you spell her last name, has such an ugly voice.

i dont love it, but i don't hate it.
 I'm still watching it. I think the songs are very catchy. XD They're not the best singers, but meh.. I've heard worse.But wtf is up with the sound? Is it just me, or does it sound extremely... weird/echo-ish? |

i say what i always say when people ask about HSM
it's catchy but that's it the songs are cute and fun to sing along to but the plot is so cheesy and they make it seem so dramatic it's like a elementary version of romeo & juliet..cept "troy" && "gabriella" are the same age. neither side wants the two to be together. even though they dont die. apparently they remain together but yet all this shit goes down and OH MY GOD THEY CAN'T AUDITION FOR A MUSICAL THEY CAN JUST DO NEXT YEAR!!!! i didnt see HSM2 but my sister said it wasn't as good as the first one and WHOA. they make ashley "sharpay" seem like such a bitch and some rich spoiled brat. my sister told me like the whole movie cause i dont have disney channel and i had no interest in seeing it. oh and p.s. in the first one..idk if it was like this in the second one didn't "sharpay" and "ryan" seem just a tad too close they practically have dry sex on the stage while auditioning and they are siblings. phew |

It just ended and I thought it was good.
I just couldn't stop laughing when Ashley Tisdale was crying in her dressing room, she sounded really funny. Vanessa Hudgens is really hott. |

I'm not a big fan of Ashley Tisdale either, but I really like the rest of the cast. I'm glad Zac and Vanessa finally got to kiss in this movie. 'Cause in the first one, they were always interrupted.
 I liked the storyline between the two characters. |

I loved the first one so much better. the second one seemed so...fake. It's so overdramatic and everything was like "WHOO WILDCATS WHOO EASTHIGH" o-O

When Zac Efron did his solo, I thought it was weird or maybe it was TOO long, lol. As well as him being mad looking while he's singing? The beats of it seemed kind of odd and similar, but I didn't realized Spiderman 3? Hmm...

The Zac solo part reminded me of Spiderman 3 when Peter Parker gets all emo and dresses in all black. Haha.
I could've sworn there was this one part in his solo where he looked like he was trying to shoot a web out if his hand.

Well...i think it was okay
 ....the part where they sang in the baseball field was kinda a stupid idea  ..but the dance was okay....it is a MUSICAL..so i guess wherever u sing..it doesn't matter...tho i only noticed that Troy had deep blue eyes..i didn't see that on the first movie

I found the first one to be hella annoying BUT this one was really cool. I actually liked it. I'm not a big fan of Zac Efron or Vanessa Hudgense BUT I did like Ashley Tisdale and Lucas Gabreel. Corbin Bleu was pretty good too.

I think the hype is that people haven't been exposed to that many musicals...so it was about time.
But...there was Cheetah Girls  I think HSM2 was pretty good. I liked a few of the songs, but I thought the story line was...not so great. |

Meh, it was fun, but it didn't have the freshness or simplicity of the first.

I thought High School Musical 2 was not as good as the orginal High Musical. Sequals only make sense when you left the orginal with the audience wanting more.
