Ive been doing bicep curls and situps and pushups but i cant do many leg or chest exercises. Can anyone give and suggestions or a nice full plan of what to do daily. Thanx lol :P

there's plenty of stuff you can do without a gym....basically u wanna do a warmup, do a head to toe strength/sculpting/toning thing, doing more on whatever it is that you want to work on...cardio, and then cooldown

for warmup, do some stretches and maybe a lap around the house, or skip for a bit...

i guess u could do some squats (plie squats are even better!), wall sits, calf raises, chinups, and toe raises... lots of situps, curlups, pushups, knee raises, tricep curls..u kno the drill ... handstand pushups are good too if u can pull them off

then cool down with like a backwards warmup

some cool things to try are 100 rep sets, which is where u lower the weight, and try to do 100 reps, it builds endurance.......flex n'hold, which is right after or before you work a set of muscles, you flex and hold for 10, it's supposed tone and sculpt well...o ya, and try slow mo for things like crunches, pushups, without resting at the top or the bottom, it burns and it's really intense!

if u don't feel like doing ur whole routine, or just wanna throw things around, try doing yoga, or pilates, or tai chi! it works, and it's really sexy! (just no spandex please!)

o ya, and invest in a dumbell set, and/or those wrist and ankle weights (good for running n stuff)

wow that was long..

i really dont recommend doing a set of 300 with only a 5 lb weight. Try using your school's weight room and go there afterschool to work out. all those things mentioned up there would tone yer body but not really accent muscle

yea, 300 times with a 5 pound weight isnt going to help at all. you might as well flap your arm up and down cause it'll be the exact same thing.

Just do these excercises

Pushups will help with chest and biceps.

sit ups and ball tuck ups. Ball tuck up is when you're on your back, and then you raise your legs and knees up as high as you can. alternate 15 sit ups and then ball tuck ups. it starts hurting after 2 sets of each.

squats. try and add weight to your shoulders with just house hold items. nothing valuable though, that wouldnt be smart now would it??

heel raises. Go to the bottom step of a stair way, and just use your toes to go up and down. add weight like squats. it'll help shape your calves like crazy.

that'll get you in shape pretty well. and try and get a few of your friends to run with. running is always better if you do it with friends. or play something like basketball. a running sport anyways.

or be cool and join a football team. their conditioning training is always hard

Are you looking to gain strength or just to stay fit? If it's just to stay fit, then like buy one of those work out videos that require nothing at all. LoL i dunno. I guess im lucky to have free wieghts at home. Hey why not like become a member in your community center/park district. My community center has a gym/weightroom and its really cheap. To work your legs, go biking. Try to go mainly uphill biking or put the gear on the bike on the highest setting. As for chest exersize, push ups work out the chest too. Push ups and benchpress are about the same exercise. The only difference is that your using YOUR body weight. Resistance bands work pretty well with toning muscle. If you don't want to spend alot of money on freeweights and dumbells, then get resistance bands. Try the medium setting resistance bands(level 2 if its the reebok brand) then work your way up. If you do want to invest in freeweights and dumbells then get the dumbell bar so that you can add weight onto it like a benchpress bar. That way you dont have to buy a lot of dumbells. I hope i helped, if you need more information or help then PM me. You can ask JlIaTMK and see how much i've helped him lol. happy.gif

have your feat 1 foot abopve the ground together hovering... hold them there while doing 20 situps... hands behind your head. and if you want to make a real commitment... dont heave yourself up.... thats not working your mussles... ne way... do 20 at a time... take a 2 minute break... 100 morning... 100 noon (for the summer... and if it is the school year... do 100 before dinner) and 100 before bed... i got mine in 3 monthes... i made a commitment... and you should 2!!! tongue.gif laugh.gif _smile.gif rolleyes.gif cool.gif

this is sort of a basic conditioning workout. i didn't know some of the names of the exercizes so i just didn't write those down.

Abs:
300 hollow rocks
300 crunches
50 v-ups
50 lemon squeezers
50 situps with your legs to the left, right, and middle
50 seat lifters
5 sets of hollow holds for 30 seconds

Arms:

3 sets of 10 planch pushups
5 sets of 10 clapping pushups
8 sets of 10 regular pushups
25 handstand pushups
5 handstand holds for 1 and a half minutes each
(for last 2, you may use a wall. for the first you can have someone hold your feel as an alternative to the wall)

Thighs:

50 squats
50 fire hydrants
200 sit down, stand ups
25 frog jumps

Ankles/calfs:

150 toe raises

Butt:

50 butt killers each side

And if you have a bar:

50 chinups/pull ups
50 bar situps
50 leg lifts each way

also...for the legs, arms, and abs...

50 squat thrust pushups

if some stuff gets easy (like the sit ups or something) add a 5 lb weight. just get one of those weights that looks kinda like a really thick cd and hold it across your chest.

yeah...but also...eat right and run or jog alot or ride your bike. or even if you have DDR at home...play that for 45 minutes a day.

hope i helped.

its madd simple. i have some weights taht i got from a sports store... but i use it mainly for bicep curls. wut im doin rite now is 75reps of pushups at one time no stoppin. n i do that 4-5 times. then follow it with 100reps of situps. n that goes bout 5-6 times. u shud do this 2-3 times a day. now for lower body... best thing is to juss run or bike ride if u can. use many hills. if ur lookin for big upper body. i suggest gettin a pull up bar n a place where u can do dips. dat shud help... best of luck to ya...

Do you have FIT TV? If so, then watch that. Do the excersises with them.
