My history teacher, Mrs. Monaghan. She was really nice (but kind of strict) and she improved the way I act/study/learn/care :p Without her, I'd be failing alll of my classes right now.

Hmm... Favorite teacher??

All of them have been bitchy at times, but if I was going to name a favorite it'd be Ms. 'W' (secrecy O_O LOL)

She's my band teacher person. She's pretty cool, but I don't think I'm doing music stuff this year so no more Ms. W. :(

My favorite teacher of all time would have to be my Geometry teacher.
He isn't just my teacher, he's my buddy. We have fun, and laugh together. When I misbehave he's there to straighten and lecture me. He gives me great advice when I'm hesitant about something. We've had tutoring section everyday for two months and I really believe that I learn things quick when he teaches me.. even if we work at a fast pace. He has really taught me lots and changed who I am entirely. He's someone I look up to as a role-model.

This is confusing me too. Are we just randomly posting our favorite teachers that none of us know?

If so, what is the point, if we dont know who the person is? huh.gif

Well, I think if we post our favourites (not necessarily by name but by subject) and why then it could be fine.

In high school I'd say my math teacher (Mr. Cichos) and info tech/computer teacher (Mr. Kingsland). Math teacher because he was soo brilliant and helped me so much in that subject and my IT teacher because I had so many classes with him and he was always so fun and chill.
In uni, so far my humanities prof. because he was so funny and a great teacher. His references to modern life made it so easy to understand the material.

I loooove Mr. Volk, my Latin teacher. He's fluent in several languages and seems to know just about everything. He's strict but fair, but he's also a really funny guy. It's fun to go on Latin/JCL-related trips with him.

I also really dig my high school band teacher. He's hilarious.

My favorite teacher was my last english teacher (11th grade english honors) his name is mr vitale. He made english intresting plus you could joke around and do your homework from other classes in that class and even sleep and he wouldn;t notice. he let people change seats when you wanted. he let me change my seat 3 times because i wanted to sit next/near my boyfriend. he always said you just want to be near James (thats my boyfriends name) and i was like but i dont talk and he was like that's all you're going to be doing and in the end he let me change. Also he would notice me and my boyfriends work was the same and he just put this one time dont work together on hw and i would do it anyways after that and he never cared and gave me full credit. Also we cheated and it was so obvious and he never said anything. I also had him for summer school this summer and he was nice he was like how did u fail 10th grade english. i was like being lazy maybe thats how. and he passed me and i didnt do any work and didn't show for half the time.

I think I've replied in a Favorite Teacher topic before. That or I'm just going crazy.

Anywhooooo, I'd have to say my favorite teacher is my case manager (she's my study strategies teacher, too). When I first met her Freshmen year (when I placed in the Special Ed program for the second time) I didn't get along with her, but soon I'll be graduating and I'll miss her. She's pushed me, that's for sure. She's pulled strings for me, which have helped me pass classes. She has a crazy sense of humor, too. She's been that person who I can look up to, but also have a regular conversation with. She's close with a lot of students, because she's their case manager. But honestly, without her I wouldn't have even thought of college. I'm deffinately going to get all teary-eyed when I graduate and have to say goodbye. I just hope she knows how much of an impact in my life she's made.

Thus far? My Intro to Music Lit professor. This guy was hilarious and definitely worth rolling out of bed to get to his 9am lecture for. The first day, he started rambling on about Mickey Mouse on Valium. Good times..

In the past, Mr. Schumpelt. HAHAHAH, I hope Courtney reads this.

As for this year, my dance teachers are probably my favorites (Mrs. Stripling and Mrs. LePage). 1st and 2nd period!

My favorites so far are...

1) My current orchestra director. He's so laid back and kind! He's pretty funny and awesome! He always jokes around and stuff... haha, he makes us cram the information (which is easy) for the midterms and finals though.
2) My 8th Grade Italian Teacher. She was awesome! I felt really bad for her because my classmates were asses and would come to class late no matter how many times she said not to; no one but a couple of people do would their homework, etc. She was really nice and rarely got angry. She was understand and I wish she could be my Italian teacher again! :(
