Image Map. Options

I haven't found a good guide on how EXACTLY to do image maps.

the one time i tried it, it didn't work.

is there a way to have image maps on myspace?

if not, then i'd just like to have one for my livejournal.

either that or a DIV layout.

buuuuuuuut, i need someone to kinda walk me through it.

i know html, etc. and i've made a DIV layout before, although it wasn't all that good.

yeah, i just want to be able to make my own.

anyway.

here's the image i'm working with right now, but it'll probably end up changing cause i like making diff. things on adobe.

anyway here: (i don't have any codes for it or anything.)

anyway what i'm asking is if someone can tell me how to imagemap this thing, like, step by step, and if i can't image map for myspace, then i need you to explain how i could do it for livejournal.

Wow, I haven't image mapped in a long time, but I used to use this a whole lot:

I wouldn't know what to not get if you use that. I mean all you do is click & click, then get the code after you're done.

i agree with alvin, use that link he posted. i always refer to that when image mapping
