Unable to receive PM's, Who can't?

I know I can't receive PM's because there's a duplicate account with the same name as me, and I know there are others who can't receive PM's.

Who all can't receive PM's?

So far I just know of Mercy and I.

...You shouldn't have a duplicate name..I'm pretty sure it wouldn't allow you to do that, and if a staffie changed your name into a duplicate then they were probably supposed to delete the other account if it has been un-active and has 0 posts.


It's probably just a little glitch and will be worked out soon as possible. Possibly give it some time, although I seem to be able to receive PMs.

Admins are no longer allowed to delete accounts because of such stuff as this happening.

Steve, have you contacted Jusun? He think the only that can solve the problem.

Oh, wait, you probably wouldn't be able to recieve his reply back right now. I'll PM him about it now. =]

Because when they were changed they were changed with no problem.Nothing came up about someone else taking it already so it was assumed that someone didnt take it.

:[ I forwarded your PM to Ju-Sun as soon as I received it. As Kiera mentioned, Admins CANNOT delete accounts without things getting wonky.

Hopefully he'll get to you soon (and Diana now, which explains her problem as well).

As far as being able to create a name that has already been taken, I'm not sure what is up with that. Maybe if the account has been inactive for a certain length of time it enables one to choose the same name.

If they ever come back they will be full of PM's regarding "the suspension"

And theyd be like "OMG i wuz suspended???!?!?!"

Im really Just better off Changing the Username (I was planning on doing so) so that there are no more issues with that.

The forums and the profiles are separate, aren't they? I think if someone hasn't set up his/her profile yet, someone else can take the username on the forums. But then, Diana's profile has always been fine... wacko.gif

We can't right now; if we do, it would...mess something up or something. Jusun told us not to till he fixes it. Something that came in with CB4. But he can delete accounts a different way than we can, so perhaps he can do it.

Deleting the other account would only delete the forum account not the one for profiles. There would still be two Stevens on cbspace.

If his username isn't steven, then his cb profile, if he had one, wouldn't be Steven either and so... yeah I don't know. I think you guys should delete it, but that's just me.
