Have you ever ran into someone (perhaps a teacher or something) that just messed (you) up at some point and made you want to quit your dreams..or any other accomplishments? I just finished struggling through summer school and have probably discarded any interest in math for now.

^iunno why but schools stick the worst people for the college office or guidance jobs. like, in my school, they are relatively normal/okay/helpful in the guidance office. but in the college office, the head is ALWAYS on the phone apparently. and they didn't send my final transcript and graduation confirmation until late - which might make a negative impact on my financial aid. i didn't call my school because everyone else had in the same problem.

oh yes definitely. i was able to take algebra in sixth grade, and that's what i did: took geometry 7th, alg2 8th, precalc9th. but you know what? THE f**kING CALIFORNIA EDUCATION SYSTEM MESSED UP MY f**kING LIFE. yes they did. we got the crappiest teachers/textbooks there will ever be. i swear, the teachers basically let you do your homework in class, come back the next day and correct answers, and do homework again. never were there any lectures..so my point is, i think that i could have amounted to something in mathematics, but because of the bad materials, my foundation is now very shaky. sigh...*cries in a corner* sorry a bit of a rant

Kryo wrecked my view of Al Gore. I was under the impression that he was a demon spawn, but through Kryo's reasoning, I came to realize that he is indeed a demi-god.

Kryo wrecked my self esteem. Ever since that one day, I've covered up all the mirrors and sat in my closet playing with my Polly Pockets.

My math teacher Sophmore year called me stupid, so then I stopped math. I try to push past what people say, but it always gets to me. I hate it when people make fun of the way I talk, because I have a speech problem. I used to cry myself to sleep when people would make fun of the way I talk. I think that's why I'm a person of few words.

I used to hear crap everyday from my dad, so I've adapted to put-downs.

^Harsh. At work, stupid employees are like, hey you don't even do anything, I'm like double you tee eff mate to them, I do more than they do, so I ignore any put downs I get. And don't let anything get to me.
