People confuse here & hear? Eeek. That's ridiculous.

The they're/their/there is kind of irritating, and where/wear/were... mellow.gif
But I don't mind too much, I kind of laugh.

Same, same.

But if it's on a profile (such as Myspace, AIM, or etc.) that kinda sits there for a while and there's a ton of grammatical mistakes, I might be a little more annoyed.

I think it's cute in normal conversation.. But for someone who's trying to act smart and beat down other people, it's just ammunition and I'll be quick to let it out if they get on my bad side. xD

Where did the other thread like this go?

I'm not going to ridicule people who make grammar mistakes, because I make them all the time. I suppose the obvious mistakes of messing up words, but that's usually spelling and word choice not grammar. Hm, when people use adjectives as adverbs?

I, personally, ALWAYS mess up who and whom and lie and lay.

i don't care about grammar mistakes, at least on msn/yahoo/aim whatever.

i hate it though when ur having a deep discussion/argument with someone and randomly they go, "it's not 'i' it's 'I' ". like they look for grammar mistakes purposely and use that as if it makes their point/argument stronger than urs, even though it has nothing to do with anything. idk how to explain it.

Ditto. People are human so if they spell the words wrong or make a grammar mistake, it's not a big deal. The world is not going to end tomorrow.

your point would have been valid, except for the fact you used "ur" and "urs". that turned me off to what you had to say especially when explaining how you hate grammar mistakes.

That sarcasm might have been funny except for the fact that you didn't capitalize the T in the word "that" when you began your second sentence.

i don't like people on myspace that type two "i"s for words like My or for words that contain the sound of the long "e"....

and i also don't like it when they use ` as an apostrophe. it's this one '

It really depends what the grammar mistake is. I hate it when people use the word "funner" because "funner" is not a word.

I can't stand typos and grammar mistakes. I think it's because I'm a copy editor. I feel like smacking someone when they repeatedly make grammar mistakes. _dry.gif

^wait (their) the same...jajaj

Really though, I find it rather amusing at times. For example, while in class my peers often pass notes amongst themselves; quite oftenly misspelling words such as "what", "girl", and the prase "What's up?". Using arrows as if it were another letter in the alphabet.

Now isn't that just the darnest thing...

jaja no; none of that is really true.
i think all grammar mistakes can be fixed. are we man/woman(girl/boy) enough to help out our fellow cb-ians for the better?
