Do you remember the time when you were little in your childhood; you were going to cross the street?

There was this crosswalk sign that shows a sign of a red hand.
What did you think it means, when you were little? rolleyes.gif

Honestly, whenever I cross the street, I thought it means to hold hand with someone else. blink.gif

It means do not cross! If it's flashing, it means do not start crossing, and if you're already crossing, hurry the f**k up!

i actually always knew that it meant not to cross.
i mean, a huge-flashing-red-hand is pretty scary when at the age of 5.

I NEVER HAD ONEEEE in the town i lived in when i was little
it was a suburb so .. there were like rarely any cars. but when i went to NY like every couple of times a month, i knew that it meant to stop.
=( but everytime i'd cross the street to play tags with my neighbour friends, my mom'd flip the f**k out.

My mom made me cross streets by myself when I was in elementary. My friend lived a couple blocks down and when I get bored, my mom made me go by myself to her house. :)

My mom always made sure to tell me that it meant to stay put. We didn't cross the street that much... I live right off the highway in my town, so I didn't walk around that far. And usually we didn't really have to cross the street for my town.
