if starting from tomorrow, you had to be either deaf or blind, which would you rather be? of course everyone would prefer neither, but of the two senses, which would you be more okay with losing?

i mean, it would really suck, though. cuz whenever you are born with something like tihs, it's all you've ever known so you're just like...THIS IS ME. but i would much rather go from better than perfect vision to none at all when compared to deaf-ness (sp?). i have to be able to hear things...i just have to!

to be honest, i'm hearing impaired. so, i do have a hearing loss since i was born. i wear hearing aids. i hate it but it definitely helps me to hear anything. i would be deaf rather than blind. 'cause being deaf isn't that hard... i know people who are actually deaf. some of them are my good friends.

I think I'd rather be deaf. Sign language is always accountable. I couldn't imagine going around not being about to see my loved ones.

Deaf, you could always learn sign language. I dont think I could go around not knowing where I was, or see anything. To me being blind would be the worst.

I would choose to be deaf. Because at least I can still be independent pretty much. But if I was blind, I would have to use a walking stick, I wouldn't be able to drive, and I couldn't tell if the girl I was talking with was hot or not.

Deaf. It's a beautiful world out there; I would hate to not be able to see but live in darkness. The solution is using sign language so it doesn't seem as tough as being blind.

I'd choose to be deaf. I hate the thought of not listening to music but I think you'd be much more impaired if you couldn't see.
Plus I'm a visual person. I pay attention more with my eyes than my ears. |

I could go blind. Music is really my life so deafness would be pretty bad.
But then again, Mozart (or Beethoven, I don't remember which) was deaf, and he accomplished alot. But I would really rather lose my sense of smell. I blame feet for that. |
