How do I get rid of the orange blurbs bar, without hiding the borders in my interests section? Options

It really bothers me that it's there.
I used

to hide my extended network, and

.latestBlogentry {display:none}</style>

to hide my blogs. But there's an ugly orange bar that won't go away.

Someone please help me?

That doesnt work for some reason. The code itself shows up in my who I'd like to meet.
