Heres my first attempt at a div overlay for my mates myspace page.

http://www.myspace.com/hecticohshit

I didn't want to deviate too far from the standard myspace layout as my mate wanted to keep his comments in.

I noticed it might be slightly out in IE but works sweet in FF.

Note: Have a play with the volume slider rolleyes.gif

What ya think?

This is the best first div overlay I've seen for myspace. Excellent job. _smile.gif

This is very impressive for your FIRST myspace div overlay layout. I think the design is just impeccable. It has a clean and sleek look to it. The colours match well together, and it's fun to play with the volume slider. _smile.gif Good job! thumbsup.gif

The layout looks awesome. It's actually shocking that it's you're first and you did great. I like the whole concept of it.

That's really neat for a first DIV; not to mention it shows great use of Flash. The colors used for the layout aren't bad at all, either. The volume slider looks pretty nifty. (Though the font used for the song and artist could definitely be better.) Nice job.

Yes this is my first div! and i'm extremely happy with it and ts getting a lot of positive feedback from a lot of ppl.

i do have a bit of experience in web and flash design so that helped a lot and i spent quite a lot of time messing around with the layout and positioning and tried to integrate as much of what my mate wanted.

I'll have a look at changing the artist and song font but as its dynamically imported from an xml file, flash doesn't tend to render this as well as static text especially when its a small point size like 8-10pt even with the font embedded. but i'll see what i can do.

But thanks for the feedback and comments! Much appreciated.
