i wrote this a little while ago. RIP all victims & thier families.

Before September 11th,
The U.S. was a happier place.
There were two tall buildings,
Now ashes are in their space.
Many more people were alive.
Now they are missing and wanting to survive.
Those men thought they were giving back,
But all they did was take away,
And now we continue to remember it, every single day.

We cried so hard, we know it hurt,
Seeing all those bodies in the ashes and dirt.
But we stand together every single day,
In hopes that someday, it will go our way.

Now we're in a circle of hopes and prayers,
But we feel so close, we are trapped in layers.
Layers of fear
Layers of war
Layers of thoughts
Layers of gore
We cant get those images out of our heads,
and now they haunt us when we lie in our beds.

That's a nice little poem. _smile.gif Well, did you originally write it as a song?
