Hey, does anyone know how to solve this? I'll make an animation picture on myspace and far away you see it has blotches of red over it and it looks really fuzzy but when you click on the picture it's clear...does anyone know what I'm talking about? Is there a setting to fix this?
Thanks! |

Wait, what do you mean make animation on myspace? Do you mean saving a file in photoshop or psp, and then posting it on myspace?

It's when you're saving it. You're not saving it to its full optimization.
Also, when uploading anything to myspace, myspace compresses everything, thus making the quality...suck. So, that might also be a big chunk of it. |

How many bits are you saving the image in?

I have no idea if I'm saving it the right away and how many bits I'm saving it in. When saving animation do you choose "Save for Web & Devices"?

Here's another picture I used.
Click But when you go to the picture it's clear. Does anyone else see some blotches on the letters? Or is it just my computer? Even though I don't think it is because other animated pictures from other people are crystal clear. I have no idea how to save to it's fullest optimization. Is there a tutorial anywhere? |

Guys. It's myspace. When you upload stuff they compress it and with high bitmap animations, such as they, the uploading process rips off all the quality of the animation.

That makes sense.
But I'm just wondering how other pictures that has way more colors than I do still have their pictures maintain high quality even though they upload it to myspace. I just thought there was some certain way they're saving it. |

Maybe they don't have it uploaded to myspace. They have it uploaded to imageshack or some other spot that allows higher image files to be uploaded and won't distort 'em.

Can they do that? It's in their photo album so isn't it uploaded to myspace either way?
Sorry about all of my questions. ![]() |

Well. Yes. IDK how other people got theres to look nice in their album. But if you're using a div layout then you can always hide the normal picture and insert a div with the same picture just uplaoded somewhere else.

I save each frame of the animated gif I am making as a high quality (80-100%) jpg or even png. Then instead of using Imageready I use GIF Construction Set Pro and save the file as a gif without optimizing it (optimizing is what gives the dots and fuzzies when you upload to MySpace). Then when MySpace resizes I don't have the problem.
![]() It's the optimization that's the problem, not just myspace. |
