yes! i wish i was 5 years older, old enough for me to be able to do what i am doing now during the dot com frenzy, maybe i could have capitalized on it then.

otherwise, i wish i was born a couple of centuries later. id like to see what we make of ourselves then. itd be interesting to live in a world where everyone is genetically enhanced to be smart, beautiful, and healthy. or better yet, when you can 'download' information to your brain without having to go through the learning process. =)

I think it'd be cool living in the early 1900's. Like 1920's and be Italian whistling.gif Or the 60's *wink wink*

This is a good topic.
I wanted to see what it was like back in the 1920's.
I mean like people think of it as like old cars and like people wearing these ugly dresses and stuff but I think that like if I lived back then it would be like normal life.
I also would like to see what the future would look like

hmm i wonder why so many people wanna live in the past. =) its all in the future guys! theres nothing great about the past - people were just less sanitary (where do you think the crap went without a plumbing infastructure!) and knowledgeable (information is just so hard to come by without the itnernet and phone!).

try living without a cellphone for a day! =)

^ the industrial revolution only happened 200 years ago, and technological growth rate is exponential (x^2), meaning one can expect far greater achievements the next 200 years than the last 200. =)

Or if you have a daughter you can kill your wife since she didn't birth a male to be your heir.

well, in the future i guess...at least for me, life in the past seems so unfortuante in a lot of cases...well, maybe i would want to live where there was no technology, just me and nature...for about an hour tops

I always wanted to live in the 1950's. I think everything seemed less dangerous. Now we have murderers, rapests etc. and back then they didnt have alot of that. Also everything seemed funner, and they all seemed happyer then now, also they went out to do things like play outside, go bowling etc. and not alot of people do things like that anymore.

I know. Future ftw. I don't really want to live in the past. Like said above renaissance times seemed cool but they all have their setbacks. Even though the future has its too it would be cool to be surprised at all the random new technology and crap.

I've always wanted to live in the Tudor court when Henry VIII was the king.
Just imagine the scandals that you'd hear about when Anne Boleyn was still there.

Or the Victorian.
Or Hollywood glamour years 40s to 50s.
