Hi,
This is my second div layout that've I've made and coded. I've checked it in IE and Fire Fox on a 1280x1024 res and it looks fine. The loading time is a little slow, and I'm contemplating re saving my images and trying to optimize them even more. But i was wondering if i could first get some CONTRUCTIVE criticism on it? Be nice? Yeah I was having a few issues with it before. I always seem to ahve issues with the font or positioning when i create div layouts for myspace. They will work perfectly as a weblayout but when i go and edit then for myspace there seems to be some complications. Oh well, it seems to be working fine now. The loading time wasn't too long was it?

It shows good use of shadows, particularly on the fortune-cookie-like note stuff.
 Hmm, I think you could've added more to this layout, instead of just curly designs in the background. Nice try, though, for a second DIV!

LOVE IT!! I only have 2 complaints: (I use Firefox) Your layout is covering up part of the ad & the word 'because' is misspelled.
But hell yeah, this is awesome so rock on! |

I like it!
 It's not a layout you'd expect to see when visiting a myspace page, although, its already been said, myspace forbids you to cover the ad with any sort of css, or images

Hey, thanks very much for all the ncie comments :) Yeah I know about the ad thing and well, meh I'll take the chance lol. I've seen others that have covered theirs up so I'll just see how it goes. and damn, damn ,damn, damn, damn! about the typo! It had to be on my image map aswell. not the nice, easy to edit content. grrr.
I'll re-upload the edited image when i get a chance then. Damn, lol. It doesn't take to long to laod does it? I have wireless internet so it's pretty good loading time on mine. Just wondering how it was going for others. :) |

I have wireless too so it doesn't take that long but I bet your dial-up friends are hatin it!
 But seriously, this rocks!  I think I remember your last layout... it was pretty awesome too...

Wow. thank you all so much. I actually thought it was quite basic compared to most of the designers on here.
It took hmm maybe 2 weeks off and on for the design. I can't seem to produce a layout all in one go. I need to do some work on it then leave it for a bit and come back to it so that i have a new perspective of it. And the coding only took a few hours. |

Just because you don't blend images and or texture techniques like most designers doesn't mean your stuff is basic... Your style is completely unique, I haven't seen anyone have anything like yours!! I love it!!
Just one thing... I really, really, really, really don't like the font you used that says "Sucker Love." I don't know why. I just hate it. xD But the rest of the layout is amazing. I envy your skillz. |

The layout is really nice. But theres so many swirly brushes. It looks overly done and I can see the search bar.
Other then that, it's good for ur 2nd div. o.O |

cruel - thanks for your comments. And your completely entitled to your opinion of the font. You were nice about it and that's what counts  relentless - yeah i know about the search bar. I hate that it shows but when i try to remove it and the google ad with the codes on here, i get these weird lines going through my images when they are loading and even for a few seconds after.  LD ^-^ |

Some are form the common brush sites like the ones mentioned in the BBoR on this site other are from deviantart, or basically just google search and google image search. My brush library has been built up over the past 3 years since I've been into designeing so some burshes might not be downlaoded from certain sites anymore buut yeah just alot of searching on the web. And usually when i find a good brush site, I'll go to all their affiliates as well, or their resources to find more, and then i go to their affiliates and yadda yadda yadda lol. I don't sleep much btw
