I couldn't ever date a guy shorter than me. Thats just my preference... It be weird. hahaha

It's alright. Because I'm pretty short myself. But.. I mean, the guy can't be under, say, 5"9 because he wouldn't seem very protective :)

Im adverage, around 5'5"

I really dont care because I have dated guys taller and shorter then me. I dont see it as weird because..well its not their falt their short. I would rather the guy be around my hight but, hey its all good.

Well see I've always grown up with most guys that I'm related too or hang out with are taller than me cept this one guy who is effing annoying. He won't leave me alone. So yeah it gets kinda hard cause I like guys to be taller than me and stronger than me which is kinda hard so most of the time, if they can carry me, and taller than me, weigh a little more than me I'm ok.

I'm 14(freshman now) and 4'11 [going through puberty still, apparently doc says I'm at stage one of it]
I don't wanna wait to grow.

You may grow, but I don't think you're ever going to be considered tall...

But don't worry too much of it. My 18 year old brother is 5'5 and has had his fair share of girlfriends.

I'm average height, 5'5". I wouldn't mind dating a shorter guy if there were also good points to him that outweighed the bad ones (shortness being one of the bad ones) thumbsup.gif But more than 3 inches shorter would seem kind of weird for me.

it's weird sometimes,
but it's better than being shorter i suppose.

i really don't like being with guys shorter than me,
but i wouldn't turn away someone just because of that.

agreed...i prefer taller guys though, to be honest.
i'm 5'8", so...yea...haha. i like to be close to eye level though, so it doesn't like, kill my neck to talk to them haha...

idk. personality matters waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more to me, though, as cliche as that sounds.

My boyfriend is only an inch taller than me and I love it so much more than all my previous ones, who were all over 6 feet.

Im so glad im tall i used to be the shortest guy but now im the tallest thanks to my black ancestors =).i wasnt able to get any girls when i was short in middle school and early hs girl-I only go out with guys taller than me

^^ Yeah, I concur, I've gone out with a couple guys who were shorter than me, but it didn't matter because they were really great guys and I liked them, so I hardly ever noticed. If I had to pick a guy, though, solely based on appearances, naturally I'd want one equal height or a bit taller.

I dated a guy who was 4'7 mellow.gif (i'm 4'11 btw). It was somewhat awkward. I don't like tall guys unless they are pretty hot. i am not to fond of guys shorter than me unless they are hot. I like guys between 5'3 and 5'10.

1. his hair cannot be longer than mine
2. his nails must be short

i do think it`s bad for a guy to be short.

i don`t think a lot of girls/women *including me* like guys who are shorter.

the guy would also probably feel intimidated if he was shorter than his girlfriend or whatever. so it wouldn`t be psychologically healthy for him.
