So, I have this guy friend. Options

And he introduced me to his other friend. His friend and I have been talking for awhile now. I guess you can say I sort of like him? But, yea. He wants to hang out with me sometime over the summer and is hoping to 'make a move' on me. The thing I'm worried about is that I'll lose my friend, again. Because a few weeks ago, I just ended a relationship with this boy, and the boy happened to be a good friend of my guy friend who also liked me at the time. When we started going out, my guy friend didn't talk to me at all, but he would talk to my EX. I had asked him before I went out with my EX if he was fine with it, and he said yes. But, turns out he was telling a false pretense. Now that we're talking again, and that things are good between us, I'd hate to burst the happy bubble again, all because I have little feelings for his friend who he introduced me to. What should I do?

Determine whether or not this thing with your mutual friend of his and yours is actually going to anywhere and if your willing to not only lose your friend over it, but also make his friend (the one you like) lose his friend as well.

you should try telling the boy that you like your situation before with your guyfriend. i would also talk to your guyfriend about the situation. honestly, a friendship will probably last longer than a relationship, and if you're willing to lose your guyfriend again and risk your friendship with him, then go for it.


and honestly, it kind of sounds like your guyfriend is kind of jealous of these other boys. if he's your friend, he should be happy to see you happy with the boys you like. it shouldn't matter to him who you date, just as long as your happy. of course he'll have his opinions, but that shouldn't be any reason to stop talking to you.
