I just saw the first episode and I think there are some good talents. Surprised the asian guy could sing. It also seems Diddy is going to have some big problems with Lorianne (dance Choreographer). Yea so what do you guys think about making the band 4

It showed today (not sure what time) on MTV for making the band. Most likely they'll have it again like tomorrow or so...

People just enjoy watching the struggle people go through in order to have a chance at what they really want. It's admirable. Afterwards, once they're popular and getting paid, they're just like everyone else in the entertainment business.

Da Band? I really dont even know who that is. Shows how successful they were though. Well it's a shame that only a handful of these new kids have the potential to be a semi-popular boy band. And not enough to hold the whole group up either. The ones that are somewhat handsome can't sing that well but can dance good, the ones who can sing are either overweight or crackhead-skinny, the ones who can kinda carry a tune can only kinda dance, and the ones with unique voices or physical apprearances aren't accepted because they won't fit the mold of the group." Although there is a select few who have the whole package, I'm not sure if its enough for boy band material.

Dream, awww that just brings back memories & same with O-Town. I could care less about Da Band and Danity Kane, although DKs season(s) were quite enjoyable to watch.

I think those shows give a good opportunity for aspiring artists. But the show along can't make a particular artist popular. It's the artist's job to promote themselves.

Look at Kelly Clarkson and how popular she is. That's because she works hard. Other artists rely too much on a tv show's fame to promote themselves and that's why they don't succeed.
