"What happened to the guy who said he couldn't live without hearing my voice? And now he won't even talk to me?"
"Don't start. I won't feel guilty because of some cherished memory you got locked inside your messed up head."
My words anger me, but I keep silent, waiting for the attack.
"What the hell is your problem? Tell me what I did so maybe I could understand just a little more the reason for you being such an ass."
But she angers me, too, and it was all I could do to hold in the screams bulging out my throat everytime she swore.
"You really need to stop cursing."
"Well, I won't."
"Then just stop talking."
"I won't do that either!"
"Then get out of my way!"
I push her as hard as I could without hurting her too bad. She catches my sleeve and drags me with her onto the street.
"Why won't you talk to me?! I'm begging you! God! Just, please, say something other than useless lines!"
She starts hitting me, and I can feel my face getting hotter. I try holding her arms down, but she tells me I'm hurting her and they slip away.
"I said get out of my way! Get the f**k out of my way!"
And it was just one act on impulse. I wasn't able to fully remember the object in my hand that was now smashing against the apple of her bleeding cheek. But the glass that sprayed across me recovered it too late. I could hear her crying from the pain as she drew away, both hands to the side of her head. I was mute. Shocked by my own force. She sobbed loudly on the black pavement, choking words out.
"Why do you hate me so much.. ?"
I wake up now, seeing the lights and hearing the horns. I yell.
"NO!"
But I didn't need to waste breath longer. She was safe, and still too hurt by me. I'm halfway to her, but turn back to see people coming out of the pickup truck that almost ended our argument. Headlights revealing the whole minute of affliction discretely. And I begin to run, the voices calling behind me, cursing me once more.

I'm confused at the ending, but it's really good, the beginning I believe can be related to by anyone, because it's happened to them at least once in their life I should think.

Good job. _smile.gif I can feel like I'm actually there, hm. I didn't understand the ending that much, either. Now I do, haha.
