Random question...

Can you recognise the footsteps of different people who live with you?

I can tell my father's footsteps from my mother's, because we all wear slippers in the house, which make some cloinking noise when you walk.

yeah, i can tell if it's my mom or dad coming up the stairs. then again, it's not too hard, seeing how one is heavier than the other, haha.

Yeah I can tell because my dad has louder footsteps and he takes longer steps. My mom has shorter steps and is usually wearing high heels and fooling with her keys.

I can tell when my little brother is coming down the stairs; his footsteps are always at a quicker pace than anyone else.

I can tell it's my little sister cause she's always running around, and never can keep her mouth closed

I don't think I could tell the difference between my older sister or mom.

My dad and brother don't live with me, but both of them like to sneak up on people so I probably wouldn't hear their footsteps rolleyes.gif

Yeah, my dad wears certain slippers all the time so I can usually tell who it is.

Yes; especially when someone walks up the stairs. My dad always runs up really fast with his slippers on, and my mom walks up painstakingly slow.

Yeah, usually. I can recognize my best friends families footsteps more so than my own though. I think its because her family tends to... stomp more...
Her stepdad walks really... hard on the ground, heels first and he stumbles sometimes.
Her brother stomps REALLY loud, on purpose.
Stuff like that, plus it doesnt help that they had wood floors. haha

Totally. My dad drags his feet and walks slower. And my mom walks faster and drops her feet more.

I use it to my advantage to tell who's coming towards my room. shifty.gif

Sometimes I can, I can tell my dad's footprints from my mom's when they walk up onto the porch and up the stairs. My brothers now...they're freakin' ninjas. _dry.gif
