have you ever tried to patch up a relationship with the other sex or with a friend?

share.

my "friend" and i used to be best friends. however, we hit a rough patch because our classes for junior year were the total opposite. we blamed each other and then came up with the solution: to try harder (to patch things up). yea, that didnt work. and basically, she's the one that's given up on us. so, basically..in the end, it didnt even matter how hard i was trying or how much effort i was trying to put into it.

Well, once, my best friend of a long time and I got into a huge argument where we stopped talking to each other for a month or so. I ended up calling her again and telling her I was wrong, that I needed to apologize, and that I wanted to be friends again, etc. It was very easy, though, because she said that she missed me, too. ^_^ So, basically, we had a silly fight, and ever since, we haven't fought :D

Apologies can sometimes be good.

Yeah, my best friend and I have almost NO classes together, but we still keep in touch about once a month, and we have sleepovers once every break to catch up. I guess we're good at staying best friends despite "distances."

hahaha xD Your a funny one.

But my best friend and I just stopped one day. We went from loving and caring for one another to hating each other in a split second. Kind of like a bad relationship when you realize all those things you thought were cute turned out to be every pet peev you've ever had.

We moved on, got new best friends. It sucks at first and you feel like shit, then you get better friends. The end.

My best friend is the biggest bitch I've ever met in my life. She's a realllyyy miserable person, and she aalways tries to make me miserable with her. We got into a fight about it, when i was hella happy. I was smiling a lot and just laughing and she was like " Stop f**king smiling you're f**king retarded shit. " And i told her her " Shut the f**k up and don't ever talk to me like that, just cus you're miserable doesn't mean the rest of the world has to be, get over yourself. " And she told me to shut the f**k up back, and we started fist fighting but about 10 minutes later we were laughing.

I hate her. But I love her.
Y'know ?
This had nothing to do with your story. But yeah.

Guess what, in the end friends don't matter. All there is in the end is family.

"Friends are family you pick for yourself."

Sometimes family is only there because they have to be, not because they want to be. Reason one why I don't believe what you just said.

All the other reasons are from my own personal family expiriance.

Hmm.. I'm still trying to patch up a few friendships.

First one that came to mind was my friend Josh. We used to be really close back in the day, and he was a really awesome person. One of the sweetest guys I knew. But he started hanging out with the wrong people, and now he's an alcoholic who doesnt care about anything. *sigh*
I have a few other friends too, but I wont go into that.

Once I got in a fight with my two best friends and did some stupid stuff I shouldn't of to hurt them, and after my ex started arguing with me that I had "no reason" to be mad at them, I had a mental breakdown and I texted one of them and apologized. It took a week after that until we were all best friends forever again. _smile.gif

I haven't tried to patch things up with my ex. I felt akwardly uncomfortable around him for too long. I kind of regret it sometimes. I mean, I'm still akward around him. It doesn't really matter anymore, though. I'm barely going to see him anymore. dance.gif

Oh..

It's not only friend relationship's we're talking about?

Yeah my last one ended shitty. Two years of my life figuring out who I was only to spend a month and a half trying to forget who I was with him. rolleyes.gif

God heartache is lame.

Depending on how good of friends you guys were, things will into place. If you've been friends for a long time, and this isn't your first fight, you should just chill, because I'm sure you'll get over it.

Oh, &nice LP topic. Aha.
