Okay, so... lately I've been having problems with my boyfriend of over a year. We've been fighting every day, and I've caught him flirting and making plans with other girls. He wouldn't answer his phone hardly ever when I called, and so I'm pretty damn sure he's been sleeping around. Yes, we have had sex. Yes, we have used protection. No, it's been about half a year since we've had actual SEX, but we've fooled around and stuff. (Obviously, this was before I caught him, which was about three weeks ago.)

So, here's the big problems... about 3 weeks ago *ahem*, he started complaining that his balls hurt really bad, and it was bad enough that he was sent home from work and didn't go in the next day. Now, he's saying that he has a sore throat, he's really achy all over, he's always tired... blah blah blah. These are the same symptoms for mono, and several different STD's.

I guess what I'm worried about is... if he does have one of these viruses/diseases, he could have very easily passed it on to me.

Whenever I've tried to ask questions about what he has, he REFUSES to answer. He won't tell me a thing.. and that just gives me all the more reason to be suspicious.

get tested. does your town/city offer those tests for free? there might be clinics around like there are where i live. it should all be confidential, too.

and then kick his ass.

I told my mom everything, and we're making a gyno appt. sometime soon. She said I probably don't have anything to worry about, because of the time frame and everything, but still. I don't understand how he can just take this so lightly.

Oh, and there will definitely be some MAJOR ass kicking. And possibly some nut busting.

Yeah, kick him in his burnin' balls.

It's a good thing that you have an appointment, even if you don't have anything it's always best to get it checked out and be responsible about that kind of thing, obviously your boyfriend wasn't. I'm sorry about that happening, but you seem to have a good additude about it.

Ugh, that jerk! Especially since he's put you through the ringer so many times (if memory serves).

I'm glad to see that you are so open with your mom about these things and that you have a doctor's appointment. That's really the best thing to do so that you can get a professional evaluation.

Depending on when he contracted his 'issue', you could have very well been expose. So yeah, glad you've got that appointment.

Yeah, it really sucks... considering I was a virgin before him, and I never, ever, ever thought he would be the type to pull this kind of stunt. EVER. I don't know where it went wrong. But, the girls I've caught him with used to be my "friends"... and they deserve each other and anything that comes their way.

Well, I suppose nothing can be determined until you see your gyno, so I hope all is well for you.

Considering what you wrote down, it sounds like you're most likely fine.

Best of luck to you, though!!! <3 And make sure you don't stress out too much, I suppose. Paranoia can do horrible things to you. x_x

Your username confused me, but then I saw your avatar. Anyyyways...

What an ass, but yeah considering the timeframe and all, things should be okay, but good on you for making an appt. right away and everything, I'm sure it'll be fine. Good luck to you Melissa! hug.gif And go kick his ass.

You do realize, that if you ask him to take an STD test or ask him if he has STDs and he refuses to answer, and you sleep with him.. and then you end up with STDs etc.. you can put him in prison. Shit that's a hefty law suit.

This is kind of old, but I'm not seeing him anymore, obviously. I'm not concerned about anything now because I haven't done anything with him in months, so... I think I'm okay [:

Just in case, you should get tested if you have or plan on having another partner.

STDs aint nothing to screw around with.

Oh, and of course. I don't plan on doing anything anytime soon - I thought he was "the one" and I didn't think I'd ever be with anyone else, but, well... yeah. So much for that. My age really showed up in there.
