I want to be hosted by a domain, but before i apply or anything i need to learn about FTP. i know it's transferring information and all, but i want to know how to use one. Can anyone take the time to explain to me thoroughly about how to use an FTP?

I'm pretty bad at explaining things, but I looked up some FTP tutorials for you:
http://www.ftpplanet.com/ftpresources/basics.htm http://www.pageresource.com/putweb/ftptut1.htm http://www.freewebmasterhelp.com/tutorials/ftp http://www.ftpplanet.com/tutorial/ http://www.helpquest.com/support/tutorials/ftp.shtml Getting an FTP software (like the ones listed in the 3rd link) would probably be easiest. If you need anymore help, feel free to PM me. I could attempt to explain anything that you don't get.
