I just stared a Live Journal account, and I was wondering how I can customize the journal? I mean by using my own css/html.

This topic needs to be moved to Livejournal Support, and this thread should have everything you need, as far as the coding. This post explains other important stuff that you need to know also. You can also use this topic for other problems that you may have when you've started to skin your livejournal.
