Uploading/Cpanel problems?, im super confused |

i bought a domain name and got paid hosting at ataraxy.net .. and i got cpanel and all that..well i go to upload files for my website and it will only upload to home..no other areas..im used to the geocities set up and cpanel is all so new to me, i tried to look around and in the help areas of the hosting company, but its a no go, can anyone give me any advice or a tutorial or something on gettin around with cpanel? i feel really stupid, but i just dont get it.

I suggest using an Ftp Program such as: Smart Ftp or Coffee Cup Free Ftp for uploading files to your domain. This will make it much easier to upload files, and create different folders etc.

thanks so much for the link, ill go check it out, i messed around in cute ftp and its becoming easier now, i didnt think that you could edit your html pages n stuff in there, i was always using notepad, which ill probally continue to use LOL.

me too! lol..thanks so much for all the help today..ive been a member here for a while just never bothered to ask questions before n i have learned soo much today than just browsing other peoples topics LOL..if i have any other problems ill pm you thanks again!
