What type of bangs look good with you're hair down, and you're hair up in a ponytail? Especially for someone with a long face.

Okay, apparently according to About.com, people with long faces should: "Shy away from blunt bangs & go for sideswept bangs." Here are some pictures to show what that means...

Observe Rihanna without bangs, first. Her forehead is quite prominent.

Now here she is with bangs!
From wearing it down:

To wearing it up, in a ponytail:

Your bangs can be straight or wavy, as long as it sweeps to the side to conceal your forehead. Ask your hairstylist to cut long layers that form the bangs. Here's another example.

Wearing hair down.

Blunt bangs, like the bangs cut straight across your face, covering your whole forehead.

^ That looks like a hairpiece she just stuck on or something. blink.gif

But yeah, side-swept bangs are best.

Side swept bangs would be best probably.

It also depends on what type of hair you have, also.

I think blunt bangs might make you look, akward. Especially when down...

Also try looking at Alexis Bledel's hair. She sort of has blunt bangs but at the same time they're sideswept.

Man Rihanna's forehead is HUGE. mellow.gif

My forehead always looks big when I pin my bangs up and I have a bit of a cowlick, so even though I cut my hair with side bangs because they're more practical and easier to deal with, I look better with blunt bangs. I should get them next time...

I think bangs will look good with people with a big forehead. I have a big forehead. I have to have bangs. Depends on the person. Short foreheads look so weird with them since its so short.

Depends on you head. You know, so far side swept bangs, because regular bangs grow out and get on your eyes. I love having bangs but makes me look younger than I am. So stick with swept. You won't go wrong w/ it. It's just it looks like w/e and not a big of a deal unlike regular bangs.

Plus it matters how you hair is. Like thick or thin. Thin is hard and looks kinda weird to me. Thick and full looks more attractive.

^this is cute

Dunno what you mean by 'long face'. Maybe you should put up some pictures.
