How long have you been with your girlfriend?

As long as you two both agree on going along with the abortion, then I see no problem. Just make sure you both really want to do it or you'll regret it later.

I've had friends that that has happened to, after a while you guys wont even remember, you would probably regret it more, if you don't get the abortion.

Agreed.

I believe abortion is the right way to go, I can't support a child, and her mom will kick her out if she finds out, I don't belive in abortion after 6months, but the embroy is only 3weeks old, so it's mainly tissue removal..

and we have only been together for about 4 months.

I think that at your age aborting the baby is your best choice, regardless of what other pro-life people might say. [I think I read somewhere] You're only 16 and obviously a smart kid (well, aside from not using protection whistling.gif) and have a lot of potential in the future that could be dampened by a baby.

Hopefully you will have learned your lesson from this whole ordeal and wont let this happen again.

I'm not really sure but we got into a fight and haven't had sex in about 3 weeks, she took the test 2 days ago.

& yea, this was a big lesson to learn, but could have been bigger, I'm not saying I would have abandoned my child, but It definitely would have changed my life.

I pulled out every time, but you can get pregnant from pre-cum, I guess it was just bad luck..

I might be in the same situation as you. I am late and although the first test was negative, I am still scared. I took the test a few days before my missed period and am waiting until the end of the week to take the second one. Basically I am praying for another negative.

If it is positive, I am going to get an abortion for the reasons you've stated.

well....you probably wont like my opinion. but you guys made the mistake of having sex without protection before you were ready to have a kid... its not the childs fault that you two made a mistake. he/she shouldnt have to suffer because of you. think of it this way, if she gets an abortion, she's ending a life. she's keeping a child from living...from experiancing life: the good and the bad. if she is actually pregnant, there is a life inside of her. a life that doesnt share her exact same dna. a life that is not hers to take away.

personally, i dont think she should get an abortion mainly because i dont believe its the right thing to do. abortion is only an acceptable option if being pregnant could in a way kill her or if she was raped... but thats my beliefs. idc (well i guess i do cuz it saddens me that some1 could take it lightly) but its her choice, both of you guys' choice what to do

i only encourage you to look up everything you can about abortions and make sure you know that there are things that could happen. a lot of risks come with it and many people become depressed after having an abortion. one of my friends miscarried and she feels so horrible about it even tho she didnt really want the child and it wasnt her fault, how would she feel if she made a consious decision?

but look everything up. consider adoption.

I don't really think abortions are the best thing to do. I mean, it's a life you're taking away, not a thing, and I definitely don't support that, but if it's what's best for the two of you, then I guess you have no other choice.

If you both agree that its the right thing to do then so be it. I suppose its a good reason for the trouble you have been put in to.

I suppose I'm just one of those people that if I know I can't support a child or ready to have one at all then I won't have sex. Just my point of view though _smile.gif

Wow, that's tough. I think you're doing the right choice for your girlfriend and yourself; I hope all goes well and that this kind of situation never arises for you two again.

Yes that's about right, she's going through with the abortion and I agree with her decision, I'm taking her and paying for it, just have to figure out when we can schedule it now.

You should take her to go get Medi-Cal so the state pays for her abortion. It'll save you the money.
