 Since October, I've had at least one a month...Well, I do have a ballet and Russell Peters in June, but as for concerts...probably Kelly Clarkson in September. |

Oh man a concert/month would be awesome. Unfortunately not many good bands, rather bands I would wanna go see, come through houston. nine inch nails has come like 3 times in the past 2 years, and I saw them the first time so that's plenty for me. I have seen trans-siberian orchestra the past two years and they seem to come every xmas time so I'll continue seeing then (awesome show). But anyways. I get to see a ocncert like once every 3-4 months :(

I think with finals around the corner, I've reached the end of my concert spree. In the past month I've seen:
Stars Girl Talk Black Lips Kimya Dawson Colin Meloy A Place To Bury Strangers The New Pornographers/Okkervil River Feist And for the summer, I at least intend to see: Ingrid Michaelson Vampire Weekend Efterklang/Slaraffenland (There's a slim chance of going to Bonnaroo, but that seems unlikely. Not to mention that that would mean 5 days of concerts in a row, or selling my Vampire Weekend ticket.) |

I saw/met (!) The Bravery & Fiction Plane two nights ago... (Highlight of my year so far...)
I'm also going to see Gym Class Heroes saterday (ehhugh) I hate them but me and my friend got free tickets and feel like making fun of them.  And I'm planning to see REM/Modest Mouse this summer.

Athens Popfest- August 13-16
Xiu Xiu, Evangalista- August 23 Pinback- September 23 Black Kids- September 24 Okkervil River- October 2 Magnetic Fields- October 17 of Montreal- November 8 Xiu Xiu, Magnetic Fields, and of Montreal are all in Atlanta, but are worth it. The other ones I'm mostly interested in because they're in Athens. I've seen of Montreal and Okkervil River before, but they were both great shows. But I am SOOOO excited for Magnetic Fields |
