Okay. Well, I'm mixed with filipina &nd' white. && I've gone through, what i call, mixism. Mixism is where people deny your race and believe you shouldn't represent a country because you're not fullblooded. I think its quite gay. I mean as long as I love the Philippines, and yeah I've actually been there, shouldn't I be able to take pride in it? Have you ever gone through this??

Or have you ever felt like you don't belong or you feel uncomfy when you're around your cuzins/friends/classmates who are fullblooded??

kryo love the sig.

@ babii
f**k them. you don't need others to affirm assurance of your pride in your country. I mean if people from outside the country can be accepted in diff countries, then I see no reason you shouldn't be accepted etc.

Wow I don't know if that made sense. I kept going ADD while typing that and watching the simpsons lol

Oohhh the simpsons.. nice choice happy.gif

Well yeah but it makes you wonder. Especially when you have them little benchmark tests and have to mark your ethnicity pinch.gif Pretty confusing. Why do you have to mark the race of your mother??

I've never run into that or felt that. I'm mixed and I love it and am so proud of it. _smile.gif

That's interesting. And, it must be very frustrating. I'm mixed, but I'm full hispanic. So, I suppose I don't know what it's like to be in that situation. I rarely ever meet a fullblooded person. Usually, they're always mixed. _smile.gif

Well, I'm half Japanese and half American.
It's frustrating how at summer camp last year, when I pointed out to people that I have an American passport, they still denied I was American at all. People can be so ignorant about it. But I've never really had issues with my identity ethnicity wise... I don't need others to assure me where I come from.

Eh, that's not too good. I'm full Chinese, but that's not fair that you are treated that way. People are just closeminded.
