so the basics, im going out with my best friends ex tonight. just to hangout cause we're essentially friends as well.
i asked her if it was okay but i know her, she gave off this ominous emotion you can tell she didnt want me to go but she said do what i want. im still going cause i really want to get out of my house today. i have no feelings for him but i cant help but feel a little guilty. its not like they went out for a long time...two weeks tops,... i know... but he broke up with his long term girlfriend and then suddenly had feelings broughten back up for my best friend. i hooked the two up together since i knew they liked each other...i guess it was to soon. two weeks later he broke up with her. he didnt really give a reason why he said he felt numb. not being able to feel any emotions and didnt want to continue the relationship anymore with her and told her that he better off without him sort of thing. it didnt make any sense cause he was like madly in love with her before they started going out. he would tell me things that seemed like he seriously wanted to be with her forever and now its over... i was hoping tonight i can hang out with him so i can ask him whats up and stuff. but i dont know if i should... its not like we're going on a date but my best friend just feels awkward about it...what to doo what to doo...? |

Well your entitled to hang out with him but at the same time take into consideration your friend's feelings depending on how much she means to you that is. All in all there's nothing wrong with you hanging out with him and you even said you don't have any feelings for him so it's all good really. So no, don't feel guilty about it.

I agree^. If you two somehow start talking about your friend (his ex) i think it would be the time to ask whats up. If not, dont bother because he might not want to talk about it.
