So, is it just me or everywhere I go I see people with like, High School Musical bags or Tinkerbell purses and Disney themed clothing. Maybe its just in the area where I live. For the people who are witnessing this new trend, what do you guys think about it?

For example, those high schoolers who wear those little kid The Hulk book bags.

I have a Tinkerbell zip-up hoodie that I sometimes wear. It's comfy. :3 I don't see it much around here.. I guess it's okay. They're cute.

There is a ton of HS musical stuff at Target, and of course tinkerbell stuff.
I only notice it in the little girls section though, so it really doesnt matter to me. shrug.gif

I guess it's okay, but I'd never buy any of that merchandise, haha. It's cute with the little kids. _smile.gif

It does scares me how this younger generation grow up idolizing HSM stars like Ashley Tisdale, Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, etc. ... and get a 'tainted' view of what talent is.

Well, some kids in my school do that. They put on Mickey Mouse bags and gold Mickey Mouse rings.

You're a little late. I think the fad is finally beginning to fade. Thank God.

Well to be honest, I don't see any other those types of characters or even Disney characters in general on bags and other things being worn. I mean I've seen little toddlers wearing their shirts with cars and stuff on them. But the only place I've ever seen bags and accessories I think would be on the shelfs of wal mart and others stores... mellow.gif

I see people my age or a little older with Disney stuff all the time. Shirts, keychains, but I've never seen teenagers with little-kid bookbags. It's okay with me if they want to do that.

I'm not annoyed at all by the Disney backpacks. I think if anything, they're kinda' cute; really reminds me of when I was little. What does annoy me is that they can't fit shizzles. Like I carry around this little a big ol' Jansport and a book bag and the people with the Disney backpacks have like....nothing. mellow.gif

I think it's weird and a way to get money. They are overdoing it with the Hsm thing.
I walked passed the Limited too store and saw a whole side of the store all Hsm stuff. To bag packs to shirts. XD.gif

It's eh, not too bad where I live.
Where I'm going to highschool in September, though, there's a little more of it.
Not disney there, though.

But, yeah..they took HSM waaaay too far. I was at this store called "Aahs" and, they had like a section for it. Right next to the Elvis & I Love Lucy section. It was....embarassing.

A LOT of girls here just absolutely LOVE Tinkerbell. I've noticed, especially the blondes. And they always say that their nickname is "Tinkerbell", when everyone else says the same...

Sometimes it gets annoying, 'cause at my school I've seen girls argue over stupid things, saying stuff like, "Hey, you have a tinkerbell on your purse. That's my nickname y'know". "Noo, it's mine." "Uh, no, it's been my nickname since like, middle school." "Well it's been mine for even longer," and yada yada.

..Tinkerbell's cool and all that, but I mean c'mon. Shutup. mellow.gif
