My best friend just broke up with her boyfriend. He started liking me... I really do like him. Anyways, ever since my friend heard he liked me, everything has become my fault. She's pissed off at me every other day. I try to make things better. Its not working. I don't want to lose my best friend... advice anyone?

first off, don't flirt with her ex. make sure things are right between you and your friend before you do anything. friendship is the most important I think. be nice to her and show her that you still want to be friends, and just give it time. i'm sure things will turn around. :)

If you don't want to piss off your best friend, don't go for this guy. It's not worth losing your friendship if you don't like him THAT much... just consider how you'd feel if you recently broke up with your bf and he and your best friend started going out... If you do, really, really, REALLY like him though- and I mean something that could potentially turn out to be a long and lasting relationship- I guess you could go for him. Just be prepared to lose your best friend...

Rule of thumb is to never ever let some guy get in the way of a friendship.
Get over him.Dont even try to pursue anything with this guy because its wrong to date your best friends ex.Especialy when the wounds are still fresh. |

her parents decided they didn't like him because he was raised in an abusive family so they think he'll be like that. |

put it this way would you rather lose a bestfriend or have a guy?
to me guys come and go.. like they say chicks before dicks you shouldn`t be talking to her ex cause thats just mess up and he probally using you as a rebound chick, revenge to hurt her back? its will hurt for ur friend to see you two together get her jealous, she would start to diss you even more and spread rumors and lies about you to make you have a bad reputation so to tell you the truth you should tell him to back off tell him sryy and stuff but if you feel this unexplainable feeling towards him i guess you should tell ur friend that so she could know ahead of time that u guys are going out instead of finding out her self cause that will hurt her more , telling her how u feel about him going to make her upset but at least your trying to be honest with her still. Before you make that choice make sure she completely over him and say its okay?. Hopefully she understand but i wouldn`t pick up my best friend left over
