I saw a little boy who was maybe 6 or seven with an incurable skin disease that made his skin look like sand. His skin jutted out in points and and wrinkled in horrible disfugured ways. This boy is too young to have commited any offense that warranted this type of punishment. There is no God. How about this. Prove there is a God. That's why I hate this f**kin site. It's full of a bunch of stupid Asian preteen know-it-alls desperate for some form of social conversation who pick obvious debate tactics and choose simple topics because they are unable to create any original ideas. Finish the 8th grade and then come back. Till then, stop bitching and step down from your goddamn soapbox. You're gay.
P.S.: Most of the ideas in this post are from Christian friends of mine. You will never win anyone over to Christ over the f**kin internet dumbass. My christian friend said to suck his dick, after which you will see the light of christ...dripping over your face. Jeremy - The Abominable CPillar Josh - Uronacid Alex - Not a CB Member |

I dont think we as humans will EVER be able to prove or disprove the existance of God. I think it's way beyond our comprehension.

prove to me that there's something after death. 1) We are not our bodies. 2) Being born into certain living conditions. 3) Clinical death situations and their stories of experiencing "life after death." 4) The Dalai Lama and similar situations in which children unexposed to media can recall their pasts.(I'm implying reincarnation.) |

Exact-o-f**king-ly. You can't prove anything over the internet unless it's in a face-to-face conversation. I disagree. While a face-to-face discussion would definitely be preferable, it's not impossible to convey messages (along with proof and sources) on the internet, even if it be less effective.

^ I actually think its easier to debate over the internet, because its easier to show more proof and sources. When debating in person, there's really no way to show someone a website or any other form of proof.

QUOTE Exact-o-f**king-ly. You can't prove anything over the internet unless it's in a face-to-face conversation I didn't even mean it that way. I prefer debating over the internet as opposed to debating in person. I don't see how creating a topic and telling atheists to prove God doesn't exist is a debate. If he (or she) had given evidence to why he exists then it would be. |

Prove that there is a God. Posts like this don't accomplish anything ![]() You can't. God is not a physical being and is not observable, hence you cannot use logic to comprehend his existence. This does not mean that God does not exist, it just implies that you cannot prove that there is a God through wordly evidence. |

You can't prove that there IS a god the way that I can't prove to you that there is NO god. Not 100% in either way.

Checking up on the reliability of these religious scriptures may help a bit. This topic is just like yours asking Christians to prove that there is a god. But of course, which god is real? The christian god? Buddha? Mohammed? or the Flying Spaghetti Monster? Or is there even a god? |

This topic is just like yours asking Christians to prove that there is a god. But of course, which god is real? The christian god? Buddha? Mohammed? or the Flying Spaghetti Monster? Or is there even a god? Several scriptures are supposedly said to be "the word of God" or written by prophets and what not who spoke to angels and messengers. The more or less reliable the scriptures become, the more or less likely of a chance there seems be a "Christian (or Muslim, Hindu, etc.) God" to be existent. Testing the reliability of a scripture isn't impossible. People like to look for contradictions within a scripture. One thing I like to watch out for are scriptures written a long, long time ago describing concepts that weren't discovered and confirmed until much later after the scripture itself was written. And I don't think I ever created any topics asking Christians to prove that there is a God... |

Similar, yet different.
![]() Heh, I know what you're talking about. That question was worded the way it was so that it wasn't another "prove that God exists" topic. It was meant to be a neutral question, actually. Christians might have taken it as "Hey! Yeah! My God is different from an imaginary friend," while an atheist could go "Hah, that's right; your God is no different from an imaginary friend." |

1) We are not our bodies. 2) Being born into certain living conditions. 3) Clinical death situations and their stories of experiencing "life after death." 4) The Dalai Lama and similar situations in which children unexposed to media can recall their pasts. (I'm implying reincarnation.) Reincarnation is the stupidest theory but as much as I hate to admit it, it is entirely plausible. Einstein's theory of energy held the idea that energy is eternal and can never be depleted, merely changed. So the idea that the energy of one life can be shifted to inhabit a new life is plausible. But the idea of Kharma and being either rewarded or punished for the acts of your past life is bullshit. It is possible that our energy can carry some form of memory, so we may remember things from a past life. But your beliefs and/or actions have nothing to do with it. And anyone who will decide to critique this idea(and I know you're all just itching behind the surface) can shut the f**k up. What do you think the idea of a soul is? A soul is the displaced energy our bodies once held. It is the energy within us which gives us our extrasensory perception, like when you feel that someone is looking at you and when you look up they're staring at you, or how when you walk into a room where fighting has occured you feel either anger or fear. NDEs(Near Death Experiences) are merely our dying brains fulfilling what our beliefs are. Why do you think a Christian NDE will see Jesus or God, yet an Islamic NDE will see Allah. If you live your life believing that Barney and the Grimace are your saviors, your NDE will be full of purple mosters. We all have our beliefs, I myself hold the belief that there is no higher power. This is not arrogance or ignorance talking, you have no idea how much I would love to have unquestioning blind faith in a God that will answer my prayers and guide me through life because I can say without a doubt that I am utterly lost. The problem is that my rational mind would never allow this. It's not fair to me, I want to have faith. But wanting and truly believing are two very different things. I know this about myself, there is nothing in life that can ever make me believe in a higher power because there is always an explanation, even for the things we have not yet discovered. In 500 years, I believe we will have undenying evidence that show how humans came to be, how the universe was formed, all the secrets of life we have yet to discover. It just takes time. 500 years ago, we all thought the world was flat, that Earth was the center of the Solar system, and no one questioned the notion of God and his divine plan. But we've learned better, haven't we. |

Putting the two together helps the two concepts make more sense.Cool, you saw the similarity between the concept of reincarnation and the Law of Conservation of Energy and Matter. Karma's not that unfamiliar of a concept either. Refer to Newton's third law. "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction." If you would have rather I not have said anything at all, feel free to disregard everything I just said. We all have our beliefs, I myself hold the belief that there is no higher power. I meant that for the people who always disagree just so that they can disagree. I hate those people. If you are gonna disagree with someone, at least have a reason or make some type of sense. Don't just disagree because you don't like what they're saying. haha |

Prove to me that there is one.
Oh wait, I didn't read the entire thread. But yeah, just because I don't believe in the idea that someone made everything and our lives are in his plan doesn't mean I don't believe in miracles. People need a reason to live their lives and faith to keep going I guess even if it is bullshit like some of the cults you see around. |

Sure, we evolved from primates but who put them there in the first place? We didnt just poof on earth. What are you 5? No, we didnt just "poof" on earth. That's not how evolution works. Now sure, we can go all the way back to single celled organisms and question where they came from, nobody knows and most likely ever will know but the most accepted theory in the world of science is the big bang theory, that hundreds of billions of years ago, some cataclysmic event occured which created the universe, which created all the planets. If you want to go even further, there is the theory that we are infinitely smaller than we believe, that the entire universe could exist within something like a blade of grass or a saltwater taffy, who the hell knows. It is completely pointless to debate the start of our existence but to me, the big bang seems a hell of a lot more realistic than the idea of creation. If anything, some guy a few thousand years ago was thinking this same thing and decided, "huh, I'll just say some guy snapped his fingers and poof, we were here." That's the funniest thing about creationists. They refuse to believe that we just evolved from inferior organisms, their biggest argument being "Well, they didnt just appear there" yet their rebuttal is "Well, god decided to put people and animals in the world and it became so." So you do believe we just "poof" came into existence. And for all the whole "oh god created the universe, it didnt just appear" shit, there hasnt been much "Okay, well where the hell did God come from?" argument from our side, mainly because creationists are so stupid(they really friggin are) that the answer is always the same. "No one created God, he's just always been there." Wow. So you will completely believe that, but the idea of the Big Bang is just so completely illogical. Idiots. f**kin Finks. |

I'm for both sides of creation and evolution. Sure, we've evolved from these organisms and they've evolved from those organisms and so on. But the neverending questions will be, where did we all come from? The big bang theory, the universe, how would it have been there if it wasn't all set up some how. But then again, we weren't there millions of years ago when all of this happened.

^ That's what science tries to explain. The Big Bang wasn't 'set up', it just happened: The universe used to be one, concentrated mass and then it 'exploded' around 15 mya; hurling matter into space, which was later pulled by gravity to form galaxies, stars, and eventually, planets. Prior to the Big Bang, there was no time, gravity, space or energy... according to Einstein's theory of relativity. The Big Bang is seen as 'The Beginning'. |

You can't prove a negative. It's impossible.
You can only say that something is "Very Likely" to not be true. You can, however, prove a positive. - James. |

i dont think anyone could prove there isnt a god
and i dont think anyone could prove there is a god there are so many different religions out there who is the right religion? no one can exactly prove there religion is right or wrong if a person believes and has faith in their religion, they will back it up and wont believe anything that anyone else says so no one could be right im atheist, but i am not saying everyone else is wrong who knows maybe there is a god and maybe there isnt. |

Exact-o-f**king-ly. You can't prove anything over the internet unless it's in a face-to-face conversation. So if they are stupid, then why did you make one? This thread is full of fail. You can easily doctor things on the internet and make it look authentic. You can use big words and attack the other person's intellect/speech in person and make them look like an ignoramus. Too many variables. I do believe that god is within human comprehension, but not necessarily any of the gods that are preached. GL proving any of it though. Disproving would be equally as hard, as there are no guidelines that dictate that a god either exists or doesn't exist. |

Do you want to feel the force of GOD??
. . . Well, good, get to magnets, place each in both hands and hold them up, have them facing each other, bring them close, don't let them touch, and you feel a tug-oh-war type force, you might want to grip them tight, they might slip out your hands. Now to proved that there is a god, Nobody can't but I can sure try, just look in the mirror, you are a blessing, no man can make another you, you is uniquely and wonderfully made. |

How in the world are magnets proof of God? Magnetism is a scientific study. It has all of its basis in reason, logic, and observation; pulling from data to prove a hypothesis. The force you feel is due to the opposing charges on either end. If you face the positively-charged side to the negatively-charged side of the other magnet, they will stick together. If you face both sides with the same charge to eachother, they will repel eachother. That's very simple science, not a miracle. |

No, you don't get it, You is the miracle, the magnet is the force of God, ( I just believe the force of the magnet is the force of god, just look at nature and you see god, look in the mirror) can you really explain why magnet sticks together?? you can try, science can try. You is the miracle? ![]() First of all, are you just personifying science when you say "science can try"? Have you ever heard of magnetic fields? If you would ever spend time to read this: http://my.execpc.com/~rhoadley/magwhy.htm, then you might understand. |

I was not referring to the positive or negative response between the magnetic fields or the scientific logic that was explain in science class. I was trying to have a critical conversation with you, and with an open mind. Can you explain the unseen forces within the magnetic field to me? I don't mean how it works, I mean where does it come from? If your so smart, you will be smarter than anybody in the world. You do not have all the answers to all life's mysteries. PS. Science is not always a Fact for a example, How do scientist really know how far the nearest solar system is? When you can't measure the universe by light beams or any other means, just by standing on this planet. Have a nice day prove that you aren't stupid. You prove that I am! You don't know me. Jeremy - The Abominable CPillar Josh - Uronacid Alex - Not a CB Member You need a lot of help, honey. Let me just throw this out there. I'm an Atheist, and I'm perfectly content with that. I think this is just about the worst topic that could possibly be created. What do you think will come from this debate except frustration, hurt feelings and clashing egos? The truth is, God can not be PROVEN or DISPROVEN. So good luck with your arguments because none of them are valid. |

^ I agree and I'm a christain but anyway, I try my best to give my view on how god exist or whatever and the replied I get is this rude, close-minded reply. Because your views are different that dosent mean other peoples views our stupid. This topic is to major for some of you, looking at y'all comments, they are the most closed minded, this thread didn't prove anything, STOP PUTTING PEOPLE DOWN!

As for people feeling like they're putting down here, this is the Debate forum, not The Lounge. Discussion can be quite a bit more fierce here. You gotta learn how to hold your ground, ya dig? Around here, the idea isn't necessarily to actually prove or disprove God. Some people just want to find out what the other side has going through their heads. Come on now, do we look that dull? As for people feeling like they're putting down here, this is the Debate forum, not The Lounge. Discussion can be quite a bit more fierce here. You gotta learn how to hold your ground, ya dig? It's part of debate-psychological warfare. =P Oh no, I'm not concerned about people getting hurt. It's just that people could get hurt for no reason because there is a slim to none chance that someone is going to budge on their religious stance. I guess there are people who are open-minded, that look at religion objectively, that could be swayed by an Atheist's theories and vice versa. I just thought I'd share my opinion. Religion is a matter of personal preference and to challenge that is kind of ... unnecessary for lack of a better term. ![]() |

first of all, to make a strong argument,
proper grammar (or nearly proper) is quite helpful to your case. doesn't have to be perfect, just understandable. secondly, i believe in God, but I cannot prove to you why he exists, since I'm having alot of difficulty with my faith myself. a Christian should not have to prove something to an atheist, just as an athiest shouldn't have to prove something to a Christian. Noone has the right to pass judgement on anyone else. If you have faith, you have it. If you don't, you don't. You have every right to choose what you believe. If someone doesn't believe in God, or your God, do you really think you're going to convince them to your side by telling them they're "screwed up in the head" ? Be real! Last, could you try not to make racist comments toward the cBers? I'm aware that the majority of those active in forums are asian, but you are no more of a person than they are, so don't make condescending innuendos, its just rude. I was born white. I did nothing to become white, and I am in no way superior to any other race. The end. |

I agree with Racism, Sexism but Religiosity I don't know, I respect people religious belief, To each is own you know They are all equally unfounded beliefs. None of them really deserve respect. You're just giving religion a free pass cause it's socially taboo to criticize another's spirituality. Beliefs shouldn't be respected merely because they are believed; that's a terrible notion. |

Religion is tremendously popular, so people are afraid to think differently of what's mainstream. I like the saying "What's popular is not always right, and what's right is not always popular". @Acid Bath Slayer: I can't remember your name, but I've always had a huge crush on you, haha! |

Let's review why you are an idiot. you stated that "science is not always a Fact" And your example you used to "prove" this is an introductory problem that can be solve in a variety of ways, which include: 1. This can be done by simple trigonometry. Which is done by standing on the earth, in a sense. 2. This can be done by an understanding of star magnitudes and the nature of luminosity. Which is done exactly with light beams. Just because you are an idiot who doesn't know these facts doesn't mean that science is deficient. I could offer to explain both techniques to you, but i get the feeling you would just ignore my explanations, so i'm not going to waste my time. Would anyone else like to try to prove that they are not an idiot? |

In my class, we're only 2 unbelievers; my friend and I. My friend is an atheist but doesn't really know how to express or defend herself. I on the other hand HATE being told that 'God exists, you just have to have faith'. BULLSHIT. I am SICK and TIRED of hearing 'How do you know that air exists? You can't feel nor touch it but it does exist. The same applies for God'. Again, BULLSHIT. I am not even going to justify that 'theory' with a response.
My sister who is a believer asked 'Sandra, how do you know that God doesn't exist?'. Simple; I have NEVER seen nor heard him talk. He has never spoken to me. How can you be sure that there's someone out there watching your every move? That's paranoia my friend and a little perverse. For Christians: Has 'God' ever spoken to you? Have you ever seen him? F-ck, this is a myth! Ridiculous. Aahh, I'm sure those who invented the Bible and the Quran are laughing at your silly asses. |

the topic Challenge for Christians. "prove that your God is different from an imaginary friend"? Sort of similar. dude i agree. prove that god isn't just imaginary. atheist can't porve that there is no god, but christians can't prove there is one. yea all those story are JUST STORIES. Anybody can make up a story. There are explanations for the plauges too. When you can prove there is a god i will then become a christian, but until that day, i play to be an atheist. |

I'm the one who understands science and most of this subject I'm sharing my knowledge with her. If I were to debate you on the subject of science I would eat you for lunch. You are no match for me. Example, Light beams are just tools scientist use for measurements only. But true measurements would require actual travel through space from one point to another. You've got to be kidding me. I've immediately lost the little respect I had for you, 1angel3.
If that truly is your dad typing up a debate post for you, you really need to get off the internet because clearly it is too dangerous for you. Or at least the debate thread because you obviously can't think for yourself, and having your own opinion is the only thing that matters in debate. And if that wasn't your dad, which I'm fairly sure it wasn't, clearly you have no valid points and are using your father's credibility to indimidate us. QUOTE Everything is not a Fact, even I respect And clearly your father who's supposedly a college graduate can not properly utilize grammar. So Jason (that's your name if I remember correctly?) may not pass judgement yet your father can call him an idiot? Oh yeah and nice PS at the bottom. You and your dad are teaming up on a teenage boy over the internet. This is the lowest cB has ever gotten. PS. I am not intimidated by older people. Especially if it's over the internet. ![]() Edit// Can someone warn this insolent, over-religious fool that's posted 3 times in a row? |

I have proof theres God. out of all the animals in existance humans are the only ones who are aware of their existance and have a guilty conscience. a dog can crap in the house and wont feel bad unles you yell at it. but if a person kills another person they feel bad about it. and thats why murder is illegal everywhere on earth. this is our conscience that God put on our hearts. also the Holy Bible. it was perserved by monks who copyed it down work for work by hand every letter and would burn it if it was incorrect by one letter. when all the books were analysed nowhere did any of them conflict each other. how could a series of book written over 1000s of miles and 1000s of year not conflict each other? only if they where written by the same person: The Holy Spirit! in Christ,
Hayde-The-Rocket-Boy. |

Yes I'm 1angel3 father. (starting a sentence with and)->And she is no idiot! I'm the one (the chosen one) who understands science and most of this subject(OMG WHERES THE COMMA?) I'm sharing my knowledge with her. If I were to debate you on the subject of science I would eat you for lunch(OH NOES). You are no match for me(ok you're still talking about how great you are). Example, Light beams are just tools scientist use for measurements only(I thought this was a discussion about god). (starting a sentence with But) But true measurements would require actual travel through space from one point to another(God travels at lightspeed). We just don't have the technology to measure distance that are millions of light years away. Our technology has not evolved that far yet(again, god?. Now, what I'm trying to say to your small mind (don't you speak to their ears which sends the message to their brain?) is that you are playing with some scientist theory(oh a scientist with a theory?). Everything is not a Fact, even a idiot would know that. What those that make you? I respect everyone opinion and their knowledge on intellectual conversations about serious subjects such as science. I do not appreciate you calling my daughter a idiot(well at least we know where it came from...). You have know(do you mean 'no'?) right to pass(YOU MAY NOT PASS) judgement on others. Especially when we know nothing about you. As far as I'm concerned we are all idiots(speak for yourself). (again, starting w/ and)And you are the ring leader (WELCOME BACK MY FRIENDS TO THE SHOW THAT NEVER ENDS WE'RE SO GLAD YOU COULD ATTEND COME INSIDE COME INSIDE) since you know so much. P.s. This (is?) 1angel3 again if you('re?) so quick to call someone an idiot, are you a scientist(yes.)? Only a scientist count(s?),(period?) prove to me your(you're?) not an idiot by telling me your a scientist. And lack of knowledge don't(doesn't?) make a person an idiot. I'm a scientist. P.S. You're dumb. You're dad did you no service, although he wins slightly in the grammar competition. You had less errors but he typed more therefore he had a lower percentage of error. Anyways, back on topic. Until someone proves to me that 'god' exists, I refuse to believe in him/her. Edit: Sorry about the bashing Arjuna :( no more from me |

I have proof theres God. out of all the animals in existance humans are the only ones who are aware of their existance and have a guilty conscience. a dog can crap in the house and wont feel bad unles you yell at it. but if a person kills another person they feel bad about it. and thats why murder is illegal everywhere on earth. this is our conscience that God put on our hearts. also the Holy Bible. it was perserved by monks who copyed it down work for work by hand every letter and would burn it if it was incorrect by one letter. when all the books were analysed nowhere did any of them conflict each other. how could a series of book written over 1000s of miles and 1000s of year not conflict each other? only if they where written by the same person: The Holy Spirit! in Christ, Hayden-The-Rocket-Boy. hayden, your my bestfriend, but i can't back you up. so what if there was a bible writen, you can transport a book thousands of miles in thousands of years. its quite possible. haha, my dog knows its bad to crap on the carpet, thats why she'll wine to go outside so she doesn't get yelled at!!! haha. |

Wow, I think this topic is really intresting.
I'm really not sure if I should be posting here or not but I think I will give it a try. Me.. I am fully open to what everybody has to say. I will not bash you for what you have to say. I am just here to put what I have to say in just for the hell of it. I am not perfect nor do I know anyone else out there that is. Other then the first smart ass that responds to my post with " OH IM PERFECT!?! he he.." Bullshit. Get over yourself. Go jackoff some where because you have to big of a head. Anyway. please excuse my grammar.. it sucks, I know. Yes, I am a Jesus lover. I think all that the bible said is true and what not. Yay for me right. Psh. I think I really suck at being a jesus lover. I mean, how f**ked up can I be? I smoke, I sware, I drink, I have sex, I am dating a buddist, I hardly go to church, Almost all my friends are Jesus haters, and still think I am going to a better place after I die? Psh, it's worth a try right? I guess everyone has to put there waight on something you know? It's what is keeping everyone sane. (No Nate you are insane. <3) SO, my reason for this post is.. please don't think your better then somebody else just because what they say is not to your likings because it's what they are putting their waight on. It's what is keeping them some what sane. |

Never trusts someone who knows everything, for they are always wrong.
I do not know the face of god. I cannot argue the finer points of the bible, like why homosexuality is considered a greater sin than eating shellfish, even though they are both condemned in the same book. Religion, or more specifically, certain sects of christianity, have often crusaded against science that conflicted with their beliefs. They have denied that the earth was round, they have denied that the earth orbited the sun, and they have denied evolution. The "science" you learn from these sects is no science; it is no real explanation. It would, therefore, be possible to receive and entire "education" that consists of almost truths. You could, for instance, attend a staunch christian college that denies evolution. What you would receive there would not be considered "science". Science is not in the business of disproving the existence of god. At the most scientific of universities, you will find courses in religion, you will find scientists who believe in god. I do not deny the existence of god because I am a scientist. Rather, I am a scientist who happens to believe in god. I do not believe in god because of the bible, or because of evangelism. I believe in god because of my understanding of science and my personal experiences. You may choose to deny science because of your belief in god. But I won't deny god because of science. As far as your status as an idiot goes, based on the facts available, it appears you have proven that quite well. |

Banneker. Haha! I'm laughing at your miserable life. I am stubborn? What are you? Believing in some'thing' that can't talk to you, can't hold you, can't comfort you? You're a PSYCHO.
This is beyond me. How can God exist? How is that possible? Because you read it in a book? I read in a book that trees were walking. Hmm ... using your logic, trees do walk. How dandy. |

THE HUMAN MORALITY (1)has been neurologically mapped out (2)our "conscience" is a natural evolutionary phenomena which is purely biological (3)sociopathic behavior demonstrates the pliability of our conscience and its biological nature (4)semblances have been shown in non-human species: the great apes for example (5)is often found to be cultural, geographical, and societal: even murder is accepted by some (6)can be naturally explained and understood BIBLICAL SCRIPTURE (1)conflict between different texts are common (2)conflict within a singular book is often common (3)conflict within multiple books is even that much more common (4)take the double-take story of adam and eve presented in genesis: did adam come before eve or not? (5)they do have conflict, but if you were going to argue the point: it's more probable that we got lucky than that men walk on water, rise from the dead, cure the sick, and turn water to wine. (6)historical inaccuracies, geological inaccuracies, archaeological contradictions, scientific challenges: the bible can not be trusted as a reliable text The only thing you proved was your ignorance, kid. |

Because you are such an intelligent, scientific individual please explain to me, if you hold your Bible as supreme truth why dinosaurs were never mentioned even though now we have concrete, physical proof of their existence? And concrete, physical proof that they roamed the earth before humans? And if God created the earth and the humans at the same time (in the same week, in fact), how could dinosaurs have existed before them? What am I doing in this topic? I'm such a hypocrite. Oh well, I might as well stick around with my fellow heretics (in other words, Nate ![]() |

I have a challenge for the simple minded atheist. Read a book called "The Urantia" then come back and try to tell us how you read the whole book and it still doesn't make sense and God isn't real. So I can laugh for a couple minutes at your stupidity :)
Also let me mention, the book, "The Urantia" OWNED thousands of scientists, scholars, philosophers etc... who all were either agnostic or atheist. LOL @ Atheists Oh wait let me mention a few other books too... that all owned atheists and converted them to believer: The God Theory The God Particle The Science Of Religion But of course, as ignorant as atheists are, they wont dare read the bible, and if they do they'll simply take it out of contexts. Anyone here wanna prove God is fake and made by man? GO to this link: www.bodybuilding.com/forum register, and go to religion/politics and challenge my Muslim brother, "SyrianKid" or "EOY", or "TranceNRG: to a debate and try to disprove the existence of God :P I would love to watch yall fail miserably. |

Your so stupid, your trying to make yourself look bigger and better then the Atheists. Your no better. Everyone has their point of veiw. You have no right to laugh at what they think is true. LOL @ You're so stupid. The problem we have here is simple. Lil youngsters who are atheist who think they're always right and no one can prove them wrong. They use science as their backbone and their guide. The problem is, scientist are always opened to being proved wrong. They look forward to being proved wrong. When something is unexplainable it is left as it is until technology and imagination grows. You wanna know what made me post what I posted? When I read this: THE HUMAN MORALITY (1)has been neurologically mapped out (2)our "conscience" is a natural evolutionary phenomena which is purely biological (3)sociopathic behavior demonstrates the pliability of our conscience and its biological nature (4)semblances have been shown in non-human species: the great apes for example (5)is often found to be cultural, geographical, and societal: even murder is accepted by some (6)can be naturally explained and understood A human trying to author the human mind... not even a scholar, nor a scientist, not a philosopher... nothing special but a young human who's a hard core atheist who feels superior over those who are religious. again lol @ callin me stupid. At least I can believe in both creation and evolution. EDIT: You were right about one thing though, from what I have witnessed... I am bigger than all the atheist in this forum board. As far as better, I MAY be better physically/health-wise but that's about it. |

First of my dad didn't type it, I did, I take the blame. Reason I why typed it is because my dad don't type very fast. No I didn't use him to intimidate any of you. He wanted to help me because he didn't appreciate the name calling. He also said that you wasted to much time attacking my grammar rather than my point of view. I would feel better if you attack my point of view because we would never agree on everything. You said we sound like rednecks. Thanks for the complement! however we are very nice African Americans. I didn't come here to play the name game. I came here to share my opinion and maybe learn something on this subject that I didn't know. All that I have learn from you so far is how stupid that you think I am. My dad has a question. If the Hubble telescope is picking up images in space that happen millions of years ago because it takes that long for light to travel that far to reach us. Then how can a beame of light reach that far out into space and measure distance. If that were possible then the beame of light won't reach its destination for another two or three million light years. Do you agree? If not then please explain.
I use that as an example and when I explained the magnets, I was referring to the invisible force that flows within the matter we call matel. A child can explain how magnet works ex: negative to negative pulls away from each other and the opposite is true about negative to positive. I was going deeper then that. I was taking about the unexplainable. YOU know what I'm talking about. As far as God is concern, I feel that it is easier for me to prove he is real than it would be for you to prove he does not exist. Ex: Have you ever heard of blessings? or have you ever tried prayer? It works for me. Now! prove your point. |

..There is a reason trust there is God is called faith. you cant prove or disprove yet. both sides have their points and rebuttals, but theres no way for us to know for positive. it is the result of being idiot humans who cant even understand why someones oppion is different without calling them stupid. if this was an actual debate tho, with true arguments, it would be worth reading.

Oh yeah... and what if there's proof of Jesus existing? What do you do then? Do this, look up, "The Shroud Of Turin" It's not fake, it's real. On top of that, from what has been studied, this figure happens to have a perfectly symmetrical bone structure. Which is entirely impossible for a human to obtain. Because one side of you is of your father, and the other side is of your mother. Both cannot be symmetrically perfect. If that doesn't help, then I recommend you get the book, "The Urantia" if you don't, that's fine. But don't come over here tellin us who's right and who's wrong when you yourself don't even have the slightest clue of reality. |

I don't plan on going out to buy any of them. lol Cute... but going to a Church, or Catholic school whatever isn't gonna help. Why? Here's the problem: 1. The Sect of Christianity Every sect of Christianity has a different conformity, different life style, and different translation/understanding/teaching 2. The Bible Teacher (who teaches the scriptures, and what they mean) Then you have the teacher, they're gonna use their personal opinion, their personal view, their personal translation/interpretation of what they read and teach that to kids or adults who they themselves don't understand. If you wanna learn "Christianity", read books on Christology. If you wanna learn Christianity... you're better off studying every religion. Cuz I can make the claim that Jesus meditated, and you find that to be foolish. When in fact Jesus DID meditate. Name a few key points?... You don't plan on buying them, so figure it out yourself. Since you already made up your mind, that is of course. Also I call bullshit on your so-called friend being an atheist and goin to church or whatever you claim. I can feel it... thanks for trying though. P.S. Clairvoyance look it up ![]() |

There is nothing more dangerous than a little knowledge and the certainty that you are right.
1angel3, you and your "father" have displayed a very incomplete understanding of science, and use your ignorance as an example of science's ignorance. Now, I feel no obligation to inform you, as I sincerely doubt you would listen to my explanation, much less accept it. Also, it would take me a while to type up (since I must provide all elementary level background), and I am, quite frankly, lazy. |

A human trying to author the human mind... not even a scholar, nor a scientist, not a philosopher... nothing special but a young human who's a hard core atheist who feels superior over those who are religious. Your rebuttal amounts to an obvious and embarrassing ad hominem attack. And, we're supposed to take you seriously? Actually address the points presented or don't refer to them at all; this is supposed to be a debate. You're expected to recognize arguments and actually address them. |
