I wasn't asking for relationship advice, it was a thread fit for the lounge.

I'm pretty sure if you pmed a mod or even the mod who moved it, they would of understand therefore no need for a new topic on it. _smile.gif

edit: Oh and just because she by accidentally made a mistake by moving it, doesn't mean shes "f**ked up", now thats judging. Also, she might of assumed you were asking for advice. But hey, everyone assumes once in a while so you can't trip on that. wink.gif

The Relationships forum is not meant for exclusively advice.

Was it really that important that you needed to make a thread about it?

First off, relationships isn't just for advice. And the topic could fit in either the lounge of relationships. It tilted more towards the relationship side to me. I don't believe that what I did was messed up since it does belong in there anyways.

As already said, it isn't just for advice. There's a bunch of non-advice topics: uno, dos, tres.

If you feel so strongly about it, PM the moderator who moved it or any moderator. Although I do think it is more fit for relationships since its discussing family matters.

The last two posts should be considered spam because the issue has already been covered. Reporting.

I don't see how it can be considered spam when we clearly haven't gotten off topic. Even so, whether its been brought up or not, we're simply just replying with our 2 cents.

Hardly worth 2 cents.

Why did you want it in the Lounge, by the way? I mean, honestly, it does work in either forum, and it probably best fit for Relationships, but did you want it in that forum so it would gain more visibility rather than being "hidden" in a less active forum? If that's the case, that begs the question as to why we even have multiple forums in the community center if nobody posts there. This way of thinking, though, makes the Lounge considerably more active than the rest of the forums, and this, if anything, is the reason why some of these forums don't get quite as much visibility.

WE HAVE A WINNAR!

All these sections and sub-sections and sub-sub-sections are pointless and just too much work. By trying to be more organized, you guys ended up being really really damn messy.

Irony!

I agree to an extent. Many of the forums are just placeholders for people to try to think of something to put there. Examples: "What are you wearing?" (fashion) and "What are you eating?" (food). I mean, seriously, how far are we reaching if that's seriously all we can think about to put in these forums? The only ones in interests that really seem like they might be of any use are Technology, Sports, Anime, Debate, News, and Writing. Maybe Art and Books. That's 7, maybe 9, and we currently have 14. The rest are pretty much useless and the topics would be better suited in the lounge. Actually, a lot of the stuff in Fashion could go in the Girl's Locker Room (or guy's, if it's a "guy fashion" thing, not to discriminate by any means wink.gif). School stuff, Food, Health, Humor, that's all common-discussion stuff, it'd be just fine in the Lounge. The "sandbox" I've always thought should go in as a subforum of the lounge so it's not "hidden in the interest caves", plus it's basically just a laid-back form of general discussion, a lighter version of the lounge.

But with all the topics we've had here about forum reorganization, we've never gotten far (except once, I believe, a temp fix was made) and lots of people don't like the idea of getting rid of forums. I just hate that people have this stigma associated with making new topics outside of the Lounge. I was just saying earlier that people tend to post the kind of stupid topics in other forums ("like hey, what's ur fave kind of shoe?") and the really interesting topics with actual merit in the Lounge. Why? What's the use in spending so much time writing up a topic if nobody's gonna read and respond to it?

CB failed when they started adding sub-categories. Take out the boys locker/girls locker. It'll help with getting rid of a bunch of stupid. stupid. threads.

The lounge would be a mess if it was filled with all the topics from the B/G locker room. Maybe have just one "locker room" though. Since a lot of topics are like, "Blablabla (girl version) blablabla (boy version)"

The threads are pointless anyways. Go CB MOD STYLE and just close them all without notification.

Are you just wanting to pick us apart? The issue has ben resolved, and cB's organization has worked for ages. More importantly, why tell people that their threads are pointless? ...Unless you're just wanting to get people worked up.
