four white kids got suspended (for 2 weeks) from my school for putting up a video on youtube they filmed about saying white power racially discriminating blacks, chanks, and beaners. how do you guys feel about this. it's kind of funny how the whites are the ones that get their ass in trouble these days. don imus ... now some stupid four white mice for doing something totally wrong ... and when miss jones on hot97 dissed asians about the tsunami 3 years ago (i believe) she didn't get fired ... from that, i'm making a high assumption that a lot of people do think whites are dirty and they should get the punishment they deserve .... out of the 4, one happened to be a polish and the rest, guidos ... sigh. and they towarded this video to one black/hispanic kid in our grade, and his mother will press charges against them for making the video. fortunately, the video got removed from youtube. how pathetic can america get? like seriously?

I don't think that this thread was given much of a chance (I know Diana only did what was asked). Hopefully I won't regret reopening this XD
But do you think that some people are held more accountable than others? For example - would a white guy be condenmed for making a comment about a black guy, and if the black guy were to make a comment about the white guy, would he be held to that same standard? This doesn't exclusively pertain to races either. Are wealthy people held to a higher standard, as far as what they say about poor people? What about those with degrees? Should they be expected to hold their tongues because they supposedly know better? |

Wait, to move this topic from racial discrimination to something else entirely...
Why the hell were they suspended from SCHOOL because of a YOUTUBE video? How bad was it? My school goes around checking myspaces, but kids only get in trouble if they have dirty pictures up while wearing a school uniform (cheerleaders, mostly) or a letter jacket or anything associated with the school. I don't understand how a school can just go through youtube and point at a video and go like "oh, i don't like your opinions, I'm going to suspend you." It has nothing to do with the school system at all! (Not that I agree with racial discrimination and the like). Unless they were specifically harrassing a particular kid, I don't know why the school suspended them. What about all the white pride parades? The KKK? There are tons of white supremisists at my school and nobody ever thinks to put them down. |

My school - there was actually a fight between two Chinese guys and three Koreans last year and they all got in shit - I think most, if not all, got expelled. So there you go.
