I don't think that's the primary concern here.

This could have just been posted in Message to Anyone. Regardless of what he did, we should be continuously cursing him... This is basically a hate thread.

Oh bullshit. You damned well know if the shooter was your ethnicity you'd be "f**king [insert race here] a-hole!" before worrying about the families of the dead.

It's a tragedy, but there isn't much one can do except express condolences and allow them to move on, which we can't do unless you're planning on writing a letter.

We all feel bad for them, that's a given. I doubt its necessary to reiterate that here.

However, racism towards Korean people as a result of "Insane Lunatic Cho Seung Hee" is a potential problem.

I don't think many white people were worried about racial prejudice after Columbine.

Lol, neither were Indians after that one Indian kid shot an African American kid on campus. But that was then, this is now. In light of world events, we're a much more racist and ignorant society. And living in majority Korean society, I've already begun to see it.

And keyword, POTENTIAL.

When you have a shooting by a Korean kid which is now being called "The Biggest Campus Shooting In America," you're definitely going to see some pushing and shoving even if its short lived.

Edit: This applies to Endless_Symphony's reply too. ^__^!

no it's not. sure, you feel some sort of shame but which race hasn't had a bad character? yeah, when i heard that the person was asian, i was like ohmy.gif but that never once replaced my thoughts about the victims.

and no, only closed minded people would think all koreans are like the shooter. and if they're closed minded, that says enough about their intellect or tolerance.

people, you have no idea where Cho Seung Hui came from or what he went through. I don't condone what he did nor do i want feel any type of sympathy for him because of his actions. cursing him and denouncing him would not bring any of the victims back.

Most of you people had been asking, "why did he do this?" ...

he obviously did it because he got mad over his girlfriend, breaking up. SMFH dumb ass reasons. i mean if he did it because they all made fun of him or something, i'd be less shocked.

White people weren't discriminated against after Oklahoma City either.
