His voice sucks... seriously. He doesn't deserve the spot he has on AI.
And I really don't think he is that attractive, He seems kind of wimpy.. I always expect him to start crying when the judges are telling him what they think. But I suppose he's got balls, going out there knowing that some of the judges hate him, and some of america....  I'm actually not even an AI viewer. I've seen like ONE episode. hahaha So I dont care that much, but that is what I think. |

I was curious so I YouTube'd this.
Why are people so into him? Am I missing something?  I mean, his voice is alright but nothing terribly special. His onscreen presence makes me cringe and wince and do this weird curl thing with my upper lip. |

I thought my family and I were the only ones who HATE him. Honestly, he should have never made it to the top 12. Week after week he is still in the compition and it never ceases to amaze me why he continues to make it through to the next round when he can't sing for crap!
His voice is mediocre, and almost every week, he's just terrible, save last week. Last night was one of the worst Most of the people who are voting for him are the young girls who think he's cute... I don't even think he's that good looking. I personally think he's gross. he just shouldn't be there.... If he does win....I will never watch that show again...no lie |

Here's the thing though and Simon has said this in nearly EVERY audition I've seen clips for: This is a SINGING competition. Sanjaya just isn't up to par. He's only been able to squeek by so far because of the shock value. Of course, that makes me just think most people (that keep voting for him) are bizarre because he's not even that shocking. Some folks have speculated it's to keep AI from being boring. Either that or Howard Stern's influence. :p
In any case, he isn't still around because he sings so well. He should have been eliminated instead of Gina a while back, in my opinion. |

Awww, well Blake's a little cutie, for sure. Doesn't have the voice though. He does have the personality (or at least moreso than the rest). I haven't really watched the show much before. I think for some reason there just isn't a whole lot on, so my tv's been tuned to this. From what I can tell, this is the worst cast Idol has seen. Everyone, even the talented ones are blah. I'm sure Doolittle will win, since she's everyone's little darling, but I'm telling you... there's a "diva" in there. All this "OMG I'm complimented and I can't believe it... you love me... you REALLY love me" is a bunch of crap.
