Generally, why do Asian female immigrants laugh way too much at my school? Is it just me? They are so loud that you can hear them from 50 fit while sitting down on the benches to chat.
![]() ![]() About the Asian male immigrants, why are their faces so close to one another? When I was talking to one, this dude's face went about 6-7 feet away from my face. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Yeah. Really. I'm an Asian-American (americanized). I have nothing against immigrants. But, people with the same ethnicity as you can be so strange, you know? |

I am an Asian female immigrant (but I am both americanized and fobby), but I do not laugh way too much. I could control my laughter pretty well. I don't think, in general, Asian female immigrants laugh that much, maybe it's just loud chattering in their native language that we might not understand, unless they always have something funny to talk about.
About Asian male immigrants, I don't think I see that...or it is just that I don't notice them enough. |

In my experience, Asians are extremely loud. Not all, but some. Fobby ones, mostly. And they tend to be more open.
Maybe that's what they were used to in their own country? >.> |

There are a lot of those kind of people where I live, but I didn't really think about the male tendencies until you mentioned it.
I guess their tendencies seem strange to us since they were raised differently and still act the way they would back in China. Cultural upbringing and all. ![]() |

The females are quite quiet at my school, actually. They don't laugh. They don't get mad. They don't.. smile. They're like this:
![]() ![]() ![]() The males, on the other hand.. They do seem kinda close. I remember on the first day these two guys were touching each other.. But the teacher had no idea how to talk to them because he didn't know Mandarin. ![]() |

I haven't noticed a trend since each person acts differentley. Maybe...Just maybe it's all apart of their elaborate plan.

I'm from Hong Kong and I've lived in Asia all my life. But as an international student, I do notice these characteristics from "local" Asians.
Many local Asian guys are really girly. |

Fobs, you gotta love em. I noticed that too. I guess its just because when they speak in their native language they tend to raise their voice...and I guess their laugh raises as well. I noticed how guys are usually touchy...how strange.

I have noticed the females being quite loud at times, but I've actually never paid much attention to the males. Eh, I am pretty loud a lot but I was born in America and I've never even been to Hong Kong actually.
