Well, they say that if you shave your arm hair, it'll grow back thicker and faster. I wouldn't do it unless you think you need to shave.

Yeah, I did it once too... and it just grew back thicker and darker. It just seems weird to me when girls shave their arms. I just did it because I knew alot of girls who did.

Unless you're reeeallly hairy, and you're self conscious about it, I wouldnt do it.

Nah, it's nothing to worry about.
Besides, when it starts to grow back it'll be all prickly and that won't feel good, especially since it's your arms rather than your legs or something.

I tried it once just cause I thought the hair was too long and I badly cut my right arm... that's what I get for having an unsteady left hand and being right handed...

I never have and dont think I will. I have been tempted to before but I havent. I had a boyfriend one time that had the nerve to say...why dont you shave your arms? dont ALL girls shave their arms? I was like..ummm NO...and on top of that my arms arent even hairy...so that made me mad.

Eh I did a couple times...I didn't really need to though >.<
My cousin does...obsessively.
But yeah, you really only should shave your arms if you think they're horribly hairy or something.

I did it once, its not nessecary because it just grows back and if you don't keep shaving it and someone touches your arm it will be all prickly [[like shaving legs]]

Unless you have like long, thick, black arm hair, you don't need to. happy.gif

nope, and i dont think i ever will, in my opinion its a waste of precious time, because it just grows back thicker and darker, its gonna come back over and over again, so unless you think you have a serious issue with your arm hair, and are willing to spend time to keeping your arms smooth, dont do it, because right now you can berely notice your hair right? isnt it better to just keep it like that?

i read in my magazine that you're not supposed to shave your arms because most of the time the hairs grow back all stubby.

^ That's just an illusion. It's not that it comes back thicker, it's that it comes back the same thickness it was before. And when smooth arms start to get hair, it looks hairier.

I'm not the expert on this but I read that in one of the 168453454 topics about this stuff here.

What Robbi said is true, it just looks that way but you don't want it to, so don't shave. If it's really bad and you really want to get rid of it, wax instead.

WELL... I have some hairy arms, and this may sound weird, but I just take scissors and trim the extremely unruly ones. It makes the unruly hair less noticeable, and it doesn't (fromwhat I can see) affect the thickness or color of the hair.

I did it a couple of times, and never did again. Unless you have abnormally thick, dark hair on your arms, shaving isn't a good idea. My arm hair is blonde, so this doesn't really affect me. I only did it because my friends told me it was better in the long run. Well, they were wrong.. just, don't do it. It's a waste of time.
