Getting rid of the Left Side Options

How do you get rid of the table that has your default picture & age & all of that. & the URL Box & the Music Box & Interest's & what not. Which would just leave the Extended Network, Blogs, About Me, Friends & Comments. & Afterwards, Center it if it doesn't center automatically.
