Does anyone take the time to sit and watch the channel "Lifetime"?
The network for women.

Let me tell you,Lifetime is the best channel if you want to feel empowered. Its like satans a-hole for every show a woman "might" like. And if you really want to laugh watch a lifetime original movie.Movies usualy consist of woman in love or woman is crying or woman kicks ass.I mean there are some that are really good dramas but thats like 2 percent.

And theres a show for everyone.
If you like buffy the vampire slayer. You might just die watching "blood ties"
omg.gif you might as well thought of it as a poorly made scary movie 5.

Im sorry i had to rant.
Discuss.

I don't know. Some other girls were watching a movie on Lifetime when I was eating lunch today. And I had no idea what the f**k was going on with the movie they were watching. It was seriously the weirdest shit ever.

All the movies have to do with either a lady getting raped, her husband dying, her daughter getting raped, her daughter dying, her daughter's boyfriend dying, her daughter doing drugs, etc. Extremely melodramatic.

But they always make me cry cry.gif I'm such a sap. But they really are lame.

I used to watch "Strong Medicine" but I don't think they play it anymore. That was a good show.

Haha, true. But admit it, you're drawn to that stuff! :P

Don't even get me started on their long movie titles.

I come home everyday to my mom watching this channel. She lays down in bed and watches it, for hours. It's the most bizarre thing ever.

And she watches all these movies based on Danielle Steele novels (I think that's Lifetime, maybe it's Oxygen. I can't keep up with the estrogen based channels).

I swear, if I see her watching a movie with a hunky guy in the moutains wearing plaid wooing and winning over his exact opposite, I'll cringe. CRINGE. It's like a two hour Brawny commerical.

I used to be watchin those "Golden Girls", haha.

But actually my mom has banned me from watching Lifetime. huh.gif

It's from a long time ago, and I'm sure the ban isn't still effective, but I just haven't watched it since then.

I think I was eleven or something watching that movie, "Fifteen and Pregnant". Haha, that's why I got banned

Golden Girls!! throb.gif

Why the ban though? Was the movie too risque for your mother's liking?
