How much is it to get into a local movie in your town, and also how much do you normally spend on food/snacks

door price: Around 7 - 8 dollars, depends on the night
snacks: Normally like $22.00 for a large coke, pop-corn, and a small snack

Well, I'll have to split it up by theater.

Marquee Cinemas and Carmike:
Tickets: Early bird-$5.00, Matinee-$6.00, Adult-$8.25.
Snacks: I usually don't get snacks, but if I do, its just candy. So... $2.50-$3.00

Blue ridge aka $1.50 theater:
Tickets: $1.50 (obviously).
Snacks: Same as the other theaters.

I usually go to AMC Fenway 13 (Now Regal) and the tickets are around 7-8 dollars and all I have to say is that the snacks are EXPENSIVE and its not quite worth it _dry.gif
But..
I cant help but splurge on the snacks and junk food biggrin.gif

My town (well village) doesn't have a theatre so I venture into the city. If you go before 1pm they're 4 dollars. After that they go up to 5.50... opening night they're like 9 bucks (they charge a 1 dollar service fee) pretty cheap i guess.

Around here it's expensive, but depends on the theatre.

Regal:
Ticket: $9.50
Snack: Well obviously, it depends.$2.50-$4.50 for candy. $4.50-$9? for popcorn.

AMC:
Ticket:$5.00 [even though it's cheaper the seats in Regal are better]
Snack: Like a dollar cheaper than Regal.

$9.50 for a movie ohmy.gif I'd rather just rent them. Geez, you can buy the whole darn movie for that price here... and watch it as many times as you want.
