so my parents made me break up with my boyfriend because they think he has a "dark side." now he is being so depressed and thinking about hurting himself. he said i was the last good thing in his life and he has no reason to live anymore. i have no idea what to do because i'm really not supposed to even be talking to him. :( i'm soooo sad! i told him that i wanted to move on and he started freaking out on me. his best friend keeps telling me that everything will be ok, but i don't think it will. he already hurt himself once before, it might happen again. :( i won't be able to live with myself if he does something stupid. someone help me figure out what to say to him

he's too emotional. He has to learn to work things out. It's not the end of the world. He'll find the next good thing.

I think you should talk to him about it, he knows the situation so he should understand? Unless he's like super... clingy... and... desperate to get you back. But if that's the case, then he doesn't really love you. If he loves you then he should be more understanding.

If it gets really bad, you should take him to see a counselor.

Maybe you should also tell your parents about the situation, they might give you permission to help him.

Gooodluckk. <.< And I guess, keep us updated?

this sounds like a situation a counselor should take care of, not you. your parents may be worried that he may "influence you" or hurt you too.
i say you try your best to follow your parents' advice... they're only watching out for you

If he were going to do anything serious, he would've done it by now.
He's just trying to guilt you into going out with him again.
Back off a little, and he'll get over it.

could be wrong, most likely wrong.

He is probably just troubled and needs someone.
You were that someone, not that he lost you he is depressed again.
