Okay, so i live in a small place and we don't get a ton of exchange students, but today 13 students from Germany came! They're going to be here for three weeks. I got all excited. I almost did the exchange, but decided not to because the timing wouldn't have worked out with family things.

Soooo, does your school have exchange students? What do you think?

Ohhh my gawsh. Lucky. sad.gif

We only have one exchange student right now... she's from Japan.
Last year we had one from Russia, and the year before we had a guy from Germany... who I was pretty much in love with. I was too afraid to talk to him, so I wrote him notes. At first they were in German... because I thought he'd like that. (I had to use an online translator for most of it.... it turned out really bad). I was in 9th... and he was in 11th. He definately didnt like me. I think I might have scared him away. XD.gif

^ Haha. We have a few hot guys eyebrowes.gif I talk to them because I know pretty good German. A few of my friends are doing the exchange and so we're going to go play laser tag (because they don't know what that is). There's actually a girl who's never had sauerkraut. I was like blink.gif

They seperated them by age because Germany has 5-13 for grades.... I have one class with 7 of them in it.

No, my school doesn't have exchange students but it'd be really cool to have some. I hope you make friends with your German students. happy.gif

We once got this reeeally pretty Russian (or was she German?) came to our school, and she was one of the first White people that I had ever seen my age. Srsly and sadly.

BUT OH OKAY. So I was at this MUN workshop, and I sat next to a HAAAILA FREAKING HOT Italian exchange student. Next to him was his Kirsten-Dunst-but-prettier-look-a-like girlfriend, and they were SO friendly and awesome. They're having amazing kids. Like, Brad Pitts and Jennifer Anistons.

no, we don't. :/
but we have exchanges for x country, track, etc. (all the sports) and for music, art and drama, so once a year we do get to travel and meet people from other countries.
it's always pretty exciting.
oh yeah... last year in MUN, the delegate for "argentina" sat by me. he was sooooo hot xP

There's a group of exchange students at my school this year. Two guys are in my science class; one from Russia, and one from Korea. I wasn't even able to tell that they were exchanged; I simply thought they were new students until I got to know them, because of the hugely diverse population at my school.

Two or three weeks ago, Austrian exchange students came to our school! They were all boys, and their accents were pretty deep. I'm looking forward to having more student exchanges!

*crosses fingers* Japanese ones please! laugh.gif

My school hasn't had foreign exchange students since 2000, because our school has to pay for their plane tickets, and housing.
