I have been in "secret" relationships before...for numerous reasons. Not being allowed to be with that person, being embaressed to be with that person, bla bla bla...I dont find it a good thing.

most times, (if not all) secret relationships are bad...
because you want to hide something in that relationship from everybody else it's really hard to sneak around and keep the relationship hidden from everybody else, too. so yeah... i'd try avoiding secret relationships |

I've never been in one, but I don't think I'd be able to handle it. To think that it is something that has to be kept from others makes me feel like it's something to be ashamed about, and a relationship should never be shameful.
That being said, I've never actually been in that scenario and do not know what I would ultimately do. |

lol i guess you could say my relationship with my current boyfriend is a secret relationship? my parents really don't like me dating at this young of an age, but i can't help it. my brothers are also very protective of me and don't want me dating at all. lol. my boyfriend and i have been together for 3 months this Thursday and we couldn't be any happier. i don't know if that answers your question or not, but i guess what i'm trying to say our need to keep it a "secret" isn't effecting our relationship any.

if you're ashamed of them, you shouldn't even be dating them. but if it's like.. your dad hates him and you'll get shunned but you love him, yeah.
this one guy i like right now is thinking like that. he said i could never ever tell anyone. but i think he was saying the things i did with his brother....

When I first started reading this I was like "oh my god how dumb, secret relationship?"
But then I realized how dumb I am...last year, beginning of the year...I was a freshman and had just met this kid from one of the private schools and he ended up liking me and I didn't like him at first but suddenly it grew. Long story short, we kinda dated. sorta. I was sorta embarassed...he wasn't the most popular guy to put it nicely...people assumed shit...it was bad. I don't recommend it. |

i have one right now and its been going on for lil over a year. theres nothing wrong with it at all. its just you prefer that no one knows you have a relationship at all. its easy done then said.
